Zombs Incoming is a 2015 Robloxian horror-action film produced by Seventy Studios and directed by Hal Winton. The film was written by Winton and longtime Seventy Studios collaborator Erica Drexel, and stars Marcus Bryne, Isla Greer, and Franklin Tade. Released on June 17, 2015, the film was widely marketed as a return to practical effects-driven zombie cinema, incorporating a mix of survival horror, dystopian urban thriller, and political allegory elements. Upon release, Zombs Incoming received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics, who praised its intense atmosphere, effects work, and production design, while some criticized its pacing and derivative plot points. The film was a commercial success, grossing over R$820 million globally, and became a cult favorite within Robloxian horror fan circles. It was notable for being the highest-grossing film in Seventy Studios’ history until 2019’s Whisper Valley surpassed it.
Plot
Set in the fictional metropolis of Bloxford Haven in the aftermath of a biological outbreak, Zombs Incoming follows ex-firefighter Lyle Booker (Marcus Bryne) as he attempts to lead a small band of survivors through a crumbling city overrun by the infected. The film opens with news reports of strange behavior in rural Bloxburg Valley, escalating rapidly into full quarantine orders. As the infection spreads, the city’s government collapses, and organized resistance dissolves into warring factions. Booker encounters former paramedic Rena Halley (Isla Greer) and eccentric radio host Duncan Ryers (Franklin Tade) in an abandoned school turned survivor outpost. Together, they must navigate not only hordes of fast-moving undead, nicknamed "Zombs" by locals, but also rogue military groups attempting to contain the outbreak by lethal force. The film culminates in a desperate escape attempt through the city’s old sewer tunnels, once part of a historic 19th-century smugglers' network.
