As a loving father to his three children and a hard working researcher, Winston Smith was a friendly and happy person.
Early life:
Born in 1958, Winston was the child to Grayson Smith. His father always brought him around the XARSON site in Ro London and let him experience on occasion what it was like to be the head director of a multinational group. When Grayson passed away in 1978, Winston helped with the selling of assets belonging to XARSON. He collected the items of his father and brought them back to the family house, placing them in the attic for safe-keeping.

Working at Prometheus Labs and starting a family
At 30, Winston got his first job at a company known as Prometheus Labs. He was placed in researching newly made items and was promoted to doctor a few months after he was hired. He met two people he ended up calling his friends while working there, Elisabeth Bradly and Alexander Fox. He married Elisabeth and became close friends with Alexander. Within weeks of him marrying they had their first child, Mortimer.
Raising Anthony
Winston and Anthony
In 1993, Winston would be surprised by his wife telling him she was pregnant again. He was concerned about it since Prometheus was in a state of financial decline and he could end up without a job. Despite this he still worked hard and made sure his family was taken care of. After Anthony was born, Winston removed his hat on the way home and placed him inside and covered him with a blanket. He made sure Anthony had more than enough of anything he needed. In May of 1998, Prometheus shut down meaning Winston was out of work. Knowing Anthony had found out and didn't understand he sat down with him to have a talk.
I know you're probably worried about the lab I worked at going out of business. Don't worry about it. It'll be fine. You and your siblings will still have more than enough food and other stuff. Now lay down and go to sleep. I'm taking you to that ferris wheel down by the river tomorrow.
Winston and Alexander just before Prometheus shut down
The late night talk with Alexander
Later that night, Winston heard a soft knock at the door of the house. He hesitated before opening it to see Alexander on the other side, struggling to hold a poncho over his head.
Winston: "Alexander? What are you doing here?"
Alexander: "Bloody hell that weather is terrible. Here I brought you a mailer I got this morning."
Winston: "Bringing me your mail now mate?"
Alexander: "Some company by the name of Terragroup Labs wants to hire me. I was wondering if you would also be interested."
Winston: "Terragroup? They don't pay as much as Prometheus did."
Alexander: "Yeah I know. I accepted the offer because as you know my daughter Autumn always demands the best of everything."
Winston: "Just tell her no?"
Alexander: "Considering her mother threw her into a dumpster on garbage day, I don't have the heart."
Winston: "I guess whatever you see fit."
Alexander: "Well?"
Winston: "Oh what the hell, I'll join with you."
Time with Terragroup
Winston was content with his job at Terragroup though he preferred his old job. He remained with them until 2001 when Prometheus reopened.
The Banlands breach
The Banlands door disaster
In 2008, him and Alexander were tasked to research a door that was believed to lead to the Banlands. A couple other researchers from Prometheus were with them and it wasn't seen as a major disaster. They opened the door to be met with a strange arena with a glowing green figure standing in the center. They backed off and fled through the doorway as the figure sprinted at them as a glowing red one attempted to cut them off. The door was unable to be closed and they watched as the other researchers were slain by the figures. Alexander fell to the floor as Winston turned around and saw that the figures were the infamous 1x1x1x1 and John Doe.
Winston: "ALEXANDER!"
Alexander: "KEEP GOING! LEAVE ME! SAVE YOURSELF!"
Winston: "I'm not leaving you pal."
1x1x1x1: "More to destroy then."
*1x1x1x1 slams his sword into Alexander's back, killing him as Winston watched*
Winston: "NO!"
*Winston runs out of the room and switches into his regular suit before exiting the site as Autumn watched*
Winston's death
After Winston returned home and entered the house he noticed a grey fox with red tipped ears walking around the house pouring a gas can. He stepped onto the porch to confront them.
Winston: "Hey. What are you doing?"
Autumn: "You let him die. Now your turn."
*Autumn pulls out her lighter and ignites the fuel setting fire to the house*
Winston ran back into the house to try and get his wife and daughter before the flames prevented them from escaping. By the time they were heading for the door the ceiling collapsed trapping them all inside. Winston and his wife knew they were going to die so they pulled Lily close for one final family hug before the flames reached them. By the time the firefighters arrived the house was completely burned down and Winston along with his wife and daughter were all burned to death. Mortimer was the first family member to see them and ran away from the remains out of sheer horror and Anthony walked in a couple hours later and just stood in front of the charred body of his father and had a blank expression on his face before walking away. Winston, Elisabeth, and Lily were buried on the site of the fire. Anthony took a silent vow that day to avenge his father and family.
The Agency rebooting his family - A Second chance
As of 2008, it would seem Autumn had gotten away with their crimes. However behind her glee, Mr. "Arctic" Fox had been working on a revival project to reanimate the dead by their ashes.
Due to this, he has been trying to revive Winston Smith and his entire family, however he had inadvertently killed the only lifeline to this project.
Until 2032, when he perfected Project Revival to ensure ashes that has already been stored for multiple decades can be reverted back to a human body.
