The Adventures of Little Archie, originally known in Neo-Japan as Little Archie & Friends (Neo-Japanese: リトル・アーチー & FRIENDS), is a 1974 Neo-Japanese children’s anime series produced by NTMS Entertainment and Bloxlastic. It is an loose adaptation of the 1956 Robloxian comic book series, “The Adventures of Little Archie” and ran from June 8th, 1974 to June 14th, 1978 for 3 seasons and 78 episodes.
It would later get an Bloxlish dub in 1984 by Avast Television, which would eventually air on Children's Avast Television (at the time named Kids's Avast TV) on February 8th, 1985 under the title of “The Adventures of Little Archie”.
Summary
The main summary of the series is about the everyday lives of a group of elementary school-aged children (Archie, Jughead, Reggie, Veronica and Betty) as they cause a bunch of mischief in the fictional city of Riverdale, Robloxia.
The primary subplot of the anime is that the protagonists attempt to pass elementary school so they can go to middle school.
Availability
The anime’s availability was previously considered to be rare, mainly due to the fact that the original Neo-Japanese version was only released on VHS and the Robloxian Bloxlish dub was originally not meant for distribution outside of Avast.
However, in March 2026, all 78 episodes of the anime (including the Bloxlish dub) were released by the official Archie BloxTube channel as part of the Archie franchise’s 85th year anniversary.

Trivia
- The dub’s title, “The Adventures of Little Archie” seems to be a direct reference to the name of the comics.
- One of the anime’s directors, Yuji Naka, just so happens to be one of the creators of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, which, Bloxlastic had licensed for Bloxlish translation three years prior to the anime’s creation in 1971.
