The spread of the SD-01 disease in the 1500s, during the height of The Famine Age.
Stud Decay (also known as Panther Virus, and as the SD-02 Virus) is a contagious strain of the SD-01 disease, spread by entering bodily orifices and open wounds by way of saliva and bodily tissue. The disease gets the name Stud Decay, from the fact is destroys and stops the production the inner studs of a robloxian, which are essential to keeping body tissue together, it also is infamous for the discolored brown, black, or grey spots the disease forms on the surface of the skin of an infected Robloxian, caused by the inner studs under the skin being destroyed, which then decay.
The disease is almost always fatal without treatment, and due to multiple outbreaks throughout history, has led to the deaths of an combined estimate of over 5 million Robloxians, though due to a Roblox extermination campaign, and advancements in modern vaccines and treatment, the disease and nearly been eradicated since 2006, with only small, contained outbreaks occurring in rural Southeast and West Baoji.
History
SD-01
SD-02 is a strain of SD-01 (more commonly known as Spotted Cow Flu), which is a disease that infects mammals, most commonly cattle, goats and swine. The disease has similar effects and symptoms as its strain SD-02, though unlike its strain, cannot be spread to Robloxians. It usually starts after 5-7 days after first being infected, and lasts 9-14 days, and without treatment, almost always leads to the death of the animal, as it spreads rapidly throughout the body, while destroying many vital internal organs, leading to heart failure. Early stages of SD-01 can be treated with Fritasol, which stops the disease from further producing, and helps the immune system to fight off the disease, though after the mid-stages of SD-01, it is considered fatal without expensive blood transfusions and organ transplants. Mammals can get vaccinated with the SD-01 vaccine.
The first instance of SD-01 was in the 12th century in what is now rural Bloxghanistan, when Mongolibloxian forces took over the region. It is believed that as Mongolibloxian forces entered the ancient city of Jehrat, they noticed that almost all cattle in the city's market had dark purple-brown eyes with red veins and were constantly exhaling blood. The disease remained in the city of Jehrat and rapidly spread throughout ancient Bloxghanistan, which hindered the Mongolibloxian invasion as many of their transport horses caught the disease and passed away. In the late 1300s, the disease is believed to have spread to the neighboring villages and towns in the region, leading to many infected goats arriving in Gūkbarha, a large city in Northwest Irabloxia that was a large trading hub during the Middle Ages. During the arrival of the goats, a trading caravan from the Bloxyzantine Empire traded in the city's central market. The camels used by the traders to travel are believed to get infected by the disease, subsequently spreading to the Bloxyzantine Empire and soon to mainland Eurobloxia. The disease ravaged through Eurobloxia in the 1400s to the 1600s, a period known as The Famine Age, caused by livestock populations massively declining in Eurobloxia, Bloxasia (now known as Baoji), and Northern Bloxveld. It is estimated over 2,000,000 Robloxians died during The Famine Age, due to starvation or related causes such as weaker immune systems unable to fight off disease, caused by malnutrition. The Famine Age is also known for greater colonization efforts by Eurobloxian nations, trying to find lands with uninfected cattle, and places to trade for more food. The colonization of the Ro Philippines by Ro-Portugal was for this reason, and the accidental discovery of North Bloxmerica by Eurobloxia was an attempt to find new routes to Bloxasia in order to trade uninfected cattle to bring back to Eurobloxia. The Famine Age also pushed Eurobloxian nations to try creating colonies in Northern Bloxveld, but the attempts failed they discovered that the disease had also spread to Northern Bloxveld, though after The Famine Age in the late 1800s, Eurobloxia would successfully create colonies in Bloxveld. The Famine Age in Eurobloxia ended in 1679, when many Eurobloxian leaders came together and devised a plan to stop the spread of the disease, which included isolating uninfected animals from infected ones, and then kill and burn the bodies of the infected, bringing in cattle from Eurobloxian colonies like the Ro Philippines, and disposing of all infected milk, cheese, meat, and water. The plan was first enacted in 1663, by the king of Bloxland, Hubert Bloxuart II, and many Eurobloxian nations followed soon after, leading to the eradication of the disease in Eurobloxia in 1679.
The disease is still present in many Western Baojian countries but is not nearly as large of a threat due to the invention of Fritasol in 1964, and the invention of the SD-01 vaccine in 1943. The disease is also still present in Cambodia, Vietblox, Lybilox, and Egypt, though a significant outbreak has not occurred since the 1960s-1970s.

The disease was also spread to North Bloxmerica near the end of The Famine Age, by way of a Rogualian colonists ship, that contained infected milk. The disease remained in North Bloxmerica, where it caused much disturbance to the dairy and meat industry, being amplified when it also spread to Bloxanada in 1856. The disease continued to spread in Robloxia, though the spread slowed in Bloxanda due to the harsh, long winters, which are not ideal for the survival of the disease. During Robloxia's early stages in RW2, the Robloxian government realized the disease could significantly decrease the number of viable ration options, so they highly encouraged farmers to kill and burn cows and pigs infected by the disease, with the promise of a cash reward, the highest being over 20,000 RBX$. The campaign was successful, but the number of beef available for rations was still low, and many butcher shops were out of business due to the lack of meat to sell, so the Robloxian government gathered a group of doctors, chemists, and scientists to create a vaccine for the disease, and, in 1943, a vaccine was finally created, and by the end of RW2, an estimated 1-3 million animals were vaccinated, which significantly decreased the spread of the disease. The disease was still present in the Kionne Republic until the invention of Fritasol in 1964, which completely wiped out the disease from North Bloxmerica.
The disease is also spread to the Bloxaribbean in the 1970s and still remains in Haitiblox due to consistently warm weather which the disease thrives in, and the lower sanitary conditions in most farms.
SD-02
The SD-02 strain is believed to have mutated from SD-01 around the early 1600s in Roscotland, in the town of Bailedun, when a farmer drank water with the disease, that had been transmitted from his pigs. It is said that the disease spread through the town and killed everyone in a matter of a couple of months. Later, during the Bloxia-Roscotland War of 1634, Bloxian soldiers stumbled upon the now abandoned town and the bodies of the infected, whom were either in late stages of decomposition, or fully decomposed. The soldiers disposed of the bodies in a nearby creek, subsequently occupying the town and using it as a temporary outpost.
The disease traversed through the creek, which connected to the River Tochy, where many villages settled and frequently used the river for various purposes, including drinking. Almost all the villages that inhabited along the River Tochy were completely wiped out due to the disease. The bodies of the inhabitants were found by land surveyors around three weeks after the first instance of the disease. After word spread of the disease, the first name of the disease "Dubspoth à Bailedun", roughly translating to "Black Spots of Bailedun" was given, and similarities between the disease and Spotted Cow Flu were starting to be noticed.
After joining Bloxland
Soon after Roscotland officially joined Bloxland in 1636, word had circulated of a rapidly spreading disease, annihilating villages in Roscotland, named "The Bailedun Flu" after the origin of the disease. The king of Bloxland William Reginald decided to visit the area south of the River Tochy, to assess the situation and possibly find a solution. In journal logs written by a doctor who traveled with King Reginald, they visited 4 towns and settlements in the span of 3 days, and documented Robloxians with large grey spots all over their bodies. From their documentation, they determined that the time it takes to die for the disease was around 3-4 weeks, and was primarily caused by drinking infected water. Inadvertently, 3 days into his visit, King Reginald went to the village of Pertsund, where he either ate infected food or inhaled the disease from someone coughing, and died 4 weeks later in Ro London.
War of the Bloxian Succession
Since the previous king had died without any children, siblings, or worthy successors, Rogualia saw an opportunity to attempt invading and conquering Bloxland, so on January 26th 1636, Rogualian forces entered Ro-London and attempted to annex it, during this event which is known as the Siege Of Ro-London, atleast 439 people died, including 97 civilians. On the 4th day of the siege, Bloxland soldiers successfully fought off the Rogualians, forcing them to sail back to Rougaulia. Other soldiers surrendered, and were swiftly executed.
Due to the attack, the Bloxland Parliament scrambled to secure a new king, and decided on BlxlandsKINGJ the II as the new king of Bloxland on February 2nd 1636. One of BlxlandsKINGJ's first acts of Parliament was the Relocation Of The River Tochy Act of 1636, which aimed to relocate every Robloxian living within a 3 kilostud radius of the River Tochy due to mass safety concerns over the Bailedun Flu.
