South Pole is the southernmost settlement on Roblox. It is a town in Free Bloxartica located 2,250 studs from geographical South Pole. It is the seat of the South Pole Prefecture. The campsite was founded by Collin II Jacob in 1902, while the town was built on its place by Edward I in 1933. In the same year the Otocolobus Airstrip (an airport with an ice runway) was constructed.
Like in other places in Free Bloxartica, during the polar night the night lights in South Pole are not turned on to avoid the light pollution. As a result, the city is dark for half the year.
