The twelfth season of the animated television series Robloxians, created by Angus Kennedy, began airing in the United States on Avast Television from March 2, 2024, to September 25, 2025, and in Bloxico on Robloxian Educational Television from June 7, 2024, to January 9, 2026, containing eighty-nine episodes, serving as the longest season in the series. The television series centers on Sophie, who together with her close friends Alex, Douglas, Jake and eventually her own Wither named Amelia, go on adventures around and outside of the village.
The season's development began in early 2022, with planning beginning later that year. Originally, the season was planned to have 30 episodes, but due to the success of the tenth season and the company's demand for new episodes, an additional 14 episodes were ordered, but during production, the episodes were eventually increased to nearly 90, making it the most-produced season of the series. The season was the first out of only two to broadcasted its episodes weekly, which was previously used in the two miniseries and the eleventh season's arc.
Upon its broadcast, the season was met with critical acclaim from television critics and audiences, with most of the praise for the animation, writing, directing, character development and action scenes. It was also praised for its focus more on the "peaceful and calm" side of the series, while still keep the action-focused episodes and its themes, emotional weight, and messages toward a older audience had been well-received; the humor was also positively received from critics. The season had been ranked as the best that the series had produced since the first and second season.
Production
For this season, the episodes were directed by Samantha Barnes, George Mendoza, Thomas Alexander, Tommy O'Neill, Frances Richardson, Joshua Morris, Aaron Ryan and Stevie Clark; the crew also wrote with Harischandra Harris, Christopher Wagner, Norman Bailey, Rhys Mcdonald, Shane Bell and Stephen Dunn. The voice cast stars Olivia Jackson, Alexander West, Thomas Tucker, Jennifer Washington, Harrison Patel, George Cox, and Robin Sanders, with Charles Harrison and Lara Stone voicing Amelia and the other Withers; additional cast features Hayden Burns, Antonio Huff, Collin Ellison, Rohan Peck and guests Eric Stonestreet, Key-Gan-Mike Key and Smart Rogen.
On January 8, 2025, one of the animators Nicholas Kennedy, who was fired from the production team, due to abuse and rudeness, leaked episodes 50 to 89 (alongside with concept arts, personal information of the animators and workers, animation tests, and other major information from Lovely World, The Hero, But Zero and Princess Tales), causing major stress for the production crew and huge spoilers that were not revealed, becoming Avast Television's biggest leak incident. However, the episode's release dates wasn't affected.
