The Robloxian Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (RAAPA) is a bi-annual coaster/theme park fan convention that takes place at the RAAPA Expo Center and Coaster District on the Roblox platform.
This gathering is a celebrated event among theme park and attraction enthusiasts, drawing the participation of numerous virtual theme park companies, for instance Cedar Fair, Universal Studios Roblox, Disneyland Wales, etc. RAAPA stands as one of the only public and most popular conventions in the Roblox world, with statistics showing a total visit count of 68,000 Robloxians in the past 6 years, with both 2025 editions a total attendance count of 15,198. The convention is a regular, occurring twice a year in July and December, for two days per event.
Established in March 2013 by AustinEngineering and managed by Thrill Forge Corporation, RAAPA has evolved into a leading platform for all things related to attractions. Entry to the convention is free and open to the public. However, access to the RAAPA Awards event requires tickets, which can be acquired through the official RAAPA event page. It had used to be operated and managed by The Coaster Team, but it transfered to Thrill Forge.
From 2020 to 2024, a recreation of the Anaheim Convention Center in Los Angeles, California had been the host of RAAPA, situated near Disneyland Park. Prior to this relocation, the convention was held at an undisclosed location from 2013 until 2020. It is now currently held at the RAAPA Expo Centre and Coaster District on the Roblox platform.
There are over 63 booths present at each event, showcasing a wide variety of attractions, coasters, and more. These booths are arranged into different color-coded rooms, with each room accommodating up to 15 booths. Additionally, conferences are a key feature of RAAPA, with each session typically running for nearly an hour in the Conference Hall building across from the Expo Centre. In-booth events also are located throughout the booths, offering engaging experiences for attendees.
For those seeking thrills beyond the convention center, a variety of flat rides are available for attendees to enjoy at the Flat Ride area. Furthermore, the opening and closing water shows, held outside the convention center, mark the commencement and conclusion of each event, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the overall experience.
At RAAPA, Robloxians are free to come and go as they please. They will receive their lanyards regardless of when they arrive, as long as it is during the period after the convention opens and before it closes.
There are two coasters available to guests at the RAAPA venue; a launched single-rail coast named Apex: The Racing Coaster, and Storm Surge, a backwards looping launched coaster. The former's station is located inside the main convention hall on the second floor when entering the main building, and the latter is located at the show area. There is also a flat ride area and a show area, that shows the opening and closing water shows of RAAPA on each day. At the show area, there is also a high drop tower free to guests named Acrophobia.
The main convention hall also has a Starblox and a RAAPA Gift Shop, for buying hats, t-shirts, popcorn buckets, etc, as well as guest services and first aid. The hallway to the main halls for booths are also located at different sections, with signs pointing to "Exhibition Halls". Around the Trillium complex are RAAPA Directory maps and info screens around the venue and in the Trillium Centre, showing booth events, next conferences, and todays events. There is also a badge pickup point when entering the convention center.
Transportation
There are over 6,000 parking spaces available both inside and outside the convention center, with parking garages conveniently located for easy access. For public transport, the Ro-Toronto Transit Commission operates bus services to and from the convention center. Additionally, there is a complimentary tram service named the RAAPA Courtesy Tram within the convention center area that provides transport to various locations within the Trillium Centre. Parking is mainly available at the Lot A and Lot B parking garage.
The courtesy tram on Day 1 operates from Trillium Centre / Exhibition Halls 1-7 stop, to Flat Ride Area stop, and Conference Hall / Show Area stop, then loops back around to Trillium Centre.
