Universal Studios Roblox, also known as Universal Studios Robloxia and Universal Studios Roblox Resort, is a vast resort and theme park. The park boasts a wide range of thrilling rides, a variety of dining options, and shopping experiences for visitors to enjoy.

The theme park has its own unique currency, called UniBux, which is exclusive to the resort. Visitors can earn UniBux by riding rides and reaching the top of the leaderboard, or by working as a Cashier, Mechanic, or Janitor (Custodian) and receiving paychecks.

Alternatively, they can purchase UniBux using Robloxia's official currency, Robux. The jobs were introduced on November 5, 2022. The theme park is currently owned by two people, Dapale and AndrewofPeace and is managed by the Universal Management Team. It has its own website, located here on Wix. However, the website is severely outdated and has not been updated since for unknown reasons.

Park areas

Summer Bay Resort

Summer Bay is the main resort of the theme park, which was previously known as Cabana Bay until it was renamed due to copyright infringement. The resort is relatively small with three towers, one of which is a premium room tower. It boasts two pools, with the latter exclusively reserved for Club U members. Additionally, it features a food court, check-in area, water slides, and a clothing store that is owned by the park's apparel brand, Sailent. Summer Bay is located just one kilometer (equivalent to 3.57 kilo-studs) from the main theme park, and it has a courtyard and a main entrance. Private cabanas and premium rooms can be purchased with Robux.

Main Park

The main park comprises various rides and eateries and is divided into seven sub-park areas, each featuring a specific theme or movie. Currently, there are six themed sub-areas including Universal Boulevard, Comic Book Block, World Expo, Jurassic Kingdom, New York, and London.

Discovery Center

The Discovery Center is a small area located in the Jurassic Kingdom section of the park. It features a variety of shops and eateries, as well as two coasters and one smaller ride.

Production Central

Production Central is an area located near the main entrance of Comic Book Block. It features a massive coaster called Rockin' Coaster, a rotating horror walkthrough attraction featuring mazes from the Halloween Scare Nights event, Universe of Wonders (releasing later in 2025) and a Universal Studios Store supplied by Sailent.

Wizarding Village

Wizarding Village, previously known as The Wizarding World of Roblox, is a section of the theme park located east of the main park, with its entrance currently located in the London area. The area is themed around the Harry Potter movies with a historical setting. The village features shops and eateries, and a ride called The Forbidden Journey, which is soon to be renamed The Forbidden Adventure as part of a redevelopment project set to open in 2025. Visitors can fly broomsticks and search for items with special effects that can be used with wands, which are available for purchase using Robux.

Backstage

The Backstage area of the Universal Studios theme park is an essential hub of activity, where the offices of the park's management team and staff are located. Situated in the vicinity of the Curse of the Mummy ride, the Backstage is a area that houses all the equipment, tools, and storage facilities required to keep the park running smoothly. The Backstage is also home to the park's production studios, where various sets and scenes are created for shows and events. Additionally, one of the most popular features of the Backstage is the 2020's HHN haunted house.

To gain access to the Backstage, guests are required to purchase a permit, which costs around 150 Robux. Currently, staff of the theme park have access to Backstage for free.

Events

There are various events throughout the park seasonally. They are all exciting events for everyone.

Halloween Horror Nights (2016-2022)

The annual Halloween event known as Halloween Horror Nights, or HHN, was a highly anticipated and thrilling experience for visitors of Universal Studios Roblox. Taking place from September to November, the event spanned the entire park and offered a variety of terrifying attractions including mazes, haunted houses, walk-throughs, and a special live show in the now-defunct Cinematic Spectacular outdoor theater. The event was notorious for its frequent jump scares and intense horror elements that left a lasting impression on attendees.

Due to the frightening nature of the event, Universal Studios Roblox implemented an age restriction, only allowing Robloxians aged 13 and above to enter. Younger participants were advised to wait until they were older before attending to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Universal Studios Roblox supports the safety of our guests. As a result, for Halloween Horror Nights, we are adding a rule to this event as this event contains scary phenomena, jumpscares, and more. Furthermore, people need to be 13 and up to enter this event. People under 13, please be advised that you cannot visit this event until you are old enough. - Said via Universal Roblox's park rules and regulations page

To gain access to HHN, a separate ticket was required. Ticket options varied and included single day passes, week-long passes, and month-long passes. It's worth noting that Unlimited Express passes as well as Universal Express passes in general, which allowed guests to bypass lines for various attractions, were not valid for the main show or in certain areas of the event.

On 2022, HHN was discontinued. However, Universal Studios Roblox promised to continue delivering thrilling Halloween experiences by introducing other events, including two haunted houses and a Halloween tribute store.

Halloween Scare Nights (2024-present)

On August 2, 2024, an exciting announcement post was made on their social media, revealing plans for a new HHN event in October 2024, leaving Robloxians eagerly anticipating the return of the beloved traditional event. First, it said that Halloween Horror Nights were to be rebranded as Halloween Scare Nights for then-unknown reasons. This event is set to offer a thrilling experience, featuring a range of attractions similar to the renowned Halloween Horror Nights (HHN), with a special focus on the chilling haunted houses. On September 27th, Universal VIP members were able to get an exclusive sneak peek of the event. This was then followed by the grand opening to the general public on October 4th. The event is scheduled to run until November 1st, offering a prolonged period of spooky entertainment.

During specific evenings, access to the event is free, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the eerie atmosphere. However, it is important to note that only the Scare Zones are accessible to the public without the need for additional tickets. Additionally, access to the Halloween Scare Nights event is restricted to people aged 13 and above, maintaining the same age requirement as the previous Halloween Horror Nights events.

Just like the HHN event from two years ago, Halloween Scare Nights boasts an array of haunted houses. To enter these haunted houses, a separate ticket priced at 50 Robux is required. For those seeking to skip the lines, a Front-of-the-Line access pass is available for the haunted houses at a cost of 100 Robux.

Throughout the park, Scare Zones are strategically positioned to startle and thrill visitors, creating an atmosphere of spine-tingling excitement. These zones are concentrated in specific areas, providing ample opportunities for guests to encounter the unexpected. Additionally, the park features designated rest areas equipped with essential park information and maps, as well as comfortable benches.

Marda Gras

Marda Gras was a discontinued event that happened annually in Spring until 2019. It is unknown what this event is.

Electric Holiday Mayhem

Electric Holiday Mayhem, formerly Holidays at Universal, is Universal's eagerly anticipated annual event that takes place every year in late November and December, after Halloween. The event is a celebration of the holiday season, particularly Christmas, and the park is transformed into a winter wonderland, with sparkling lights and festive decorations. Visitors can enjoy a variety of holiday-themed treats, including hot cocoa, gingerbread cookies, and candy canes.

One of the highlights of the event is the snowfall that occurs on the first day, which covers the entire park in a blanket of white. The snowfall is an exciting and magical experience for visitors of all ages and adds to the festive atmosphere of the event.

In addition to the decorations and treats, visitors can also collect a special emblem from the Emblem Shop. The emblem is available to both Club U and standard members and serves as a memento of the event.

The event also features a spectacular holiday show that takes place every hour at Universal Boulevard. The 10-minute show is a must-see for visitors and is sure to delight and entertain. Unfortunately, there is not much information available about the show, but visitors can be rest assured that it is a highlight of the event.

Lawsuits:

Universal Controversies

"Ghostbusters: Paranormal Pursuit" was found to be in violation of the copyright infringement laws surrounding real-life rides in theme parks. Universal had essentially recreated a real-life ride, complete with trademarked branding, thereby infringing on the country's copyright laws.

In response to the lawsuit, Universal was forced to shut down the ride and rename it from "Revenge of the Mummy" to "The Mummy", a ride based on the real-life movie. This was done until a new ride could be developed to replace the closed ride. Furthermore, Universal also had to close down "The Forbidden Journey", a ride located in one of the park's areas known as "The Wizarding World of Roblox" (now renamed as Wizarding Village), to avoid any further lawsuits. The ride was closed down in favor of a complete remake and a new name. This legal action had serious consequences for Universal, as it was forced to undergo significant changes in its theme park attractions to comply with the country's copyright laws.

Fun Fact:

Universal Studios Roblox is the second oldest Universal Studios.
