The Ro-Kasom Defense Forces (KDF) is the military organization responsible for the protection of Ro-Kasom. Consisting of 4 branches, the Ro-Kasom Ground Forces (RKG), the Ro-Kasom Naval Forces (RKF), Ro-Kasom Air Force (RKAF), and the Ro-Kasom Special Forces (RKSF).
On June 30th, 1946, a few days after the founding of the Ro-Kasom Republic, David Santana, the then president of Ro-Kasom, along with the help of Joha Maxo, head of the Ro-Kasom Liberation Army, established the KDF as a means for protection of the island territory, and some recent border disputes between the Bacon Empire. Over the course of it's history, the KDF has received foreign funding from Robloxia, Israblox, Bloxrazil, and Bloxargentina.
The KDF has a total of 880,000 total personnel as of 2023, (Around a 7% estimate of the Ro-Kasom population) With 250,000 Active troops, with the RKG (145,000), RKF (50,000), 39,000 (RKAF), and 25,000 RKSF). And a total of 630,000 In reserve, RKG (450,000), RKF, (80,000), RKAF, (50,000), RKSF, (20,000). Despite it being one of the smallest countries, Ro-Kasom has developed lots of funding and money towards the KDF, as well as having one of the largest military productions in the world.
Since the inception of the KDF in 1946, it has been through 12 wars, the majority being against the Bacon Empire over the disputed Lorja and Norqal territories, The Bacon Empire went to war with Ro-Kasom in 1951, annexing the 2 regions. Later, in 1962, KDF forces launched an offensive to retake the Nolqal region. In 1977, a ten year war against the Bacon Empire for territory over northern Ro-Kasom occurred, and in 2011, after protests in the island of Lorja, the KDF forcefully annexed it from the Bacon Empire.

Founding

After the Kasomian Civil War II, which left 794,304 Ro-Kasomians dead, the newly formed third Democracy began work on a new armed forces, since the Ro-Kasomian Liberation Army was no longer needed. During the 1947 election, Ro-Kasom elected David Santana began working with the commander of the Ro-Kasomian Liberation Army, Joha Maxo, to form the Ro-Kasom Defense Force. It would be one of the first things to happen during David Santana's presidency as the first president of the "newly formed" country.
