The Ro-Kasom Ground Forces are are the ground forces of the Ro-Kasom Defense Force (KDF). The commander is the General Officer Commanding with the rank of major general, the Ioan Bash, subordinate to the Chief of General Staff.
On June 30th, 1946, after the establishment of the 3rd Ro-Kasom Republic, President David Santana, with the assistance of the Ro-Kasom Liberation Army, lead by John Maxo, incorporated the liberation army and re-purposed it as the Ro-Kasom Defense Forces, designed to protect the island from lingering threats of piracy and the Bacon Empire. Along with the formation, the Ro-Kasom Ground Forces were established as the first and primary branch of the KDF. the KDF has been involved in a total of 12 wars, in 1951, It saw its first conflict against the Bacon Empire, in which the Bacon Empire successfully annexed the Lorjan Island, as well as the northern Nolqal region, in the 1951 Bacon-Kamonese War, later the Nolqal War in 1962, and from 1977-1987, it fought the Bacon-Kasom War, later in the 1991-1992 Skirmishes in Lorja
