Rox Broadcasting Company (commonly known as ROX or Rox Pictures) is a Robloxian television network owned by Rox Corporation. The network is headquartered in New Blockers City at the Rox Broadcasting Center and the Rox Studios in Bloxburg City.
History
The new Rox network was created in March 1982 through News Corporation's purchase of a 50% interest in TVC, the parent company of the 20th Century Rox movie studio, for $250 million (R$10 billion). In May 1985, News Corporation agreed to pay 1.55 billion Robux for independent television stations in six major cities in Robloxia. These stations were WNBC-TV in New Blockers City, WTFY in Brookhaven, KTTV in Bloxburg City, KRIV-TV in Blockfield, WFLD in Livetopia and KRLD in Jailbreak.
2013-2019: Rox Pictures Network
In February 2013, Rox began renovating its Bloxburg City Robloxian headquarters to replace its offices backstage at The Jonathanroxcp Show. Rox's operations at the new headquarters began in April 2013 when a "Harlem Shake" video was filmed and uploaded to Rox's BloxTube channel.
In May 2013, The Jonathanroxcp Show, which was Rox's most popular show, ended production. However, his studio would continue to update and promote itself as a tourist attraction for the entire Robloxian community.
In June 2013, Rox Pictures launched the first Robloxia music channel when it switched RPN to a MuchMusic-based music channel format. RPN premiered Today's Top 5 in August 2013 as its first official program produced on the new Rox Pictures.
