ROBLOX City International Airport is a former airport located in Roblox City that was destroyed and closed for good in 2012 during a flood during the larger 2012 Destruction of Roblox City Disaster. It was built in 1993 and rebuilt in 2002. In 2012, during its last year of operation, it served a record: approximately 2.35 million passengers; a majority of the passengers were using the airport as an evacuation route. In 2015, the Roblox City International Airport would be rebuilt exactly to what it was in that fateful day of 2012, but was subsequently re-destroyed in 2019. The airport since then has never been rebuilt.

2012 Destruction of Roblox City Disaster

During the disaster, three planes to Roblox City were stranded. Two of them were crushed. One flew to Roregon as emergency. Those planes were charter flights from Robloxian Airlines.

Near midnight, on November 2, 2012, Builderman announced that “he will send planes to Roblox City”. After a couple of hours, the planes can be seen and heard. The planes were planning on going to Bloxanada with Telamon Air liveries. An alternate escape for the northern part of the city, helicopters were sent. 60 minutes later, the plane taxied and took off to escape the incoming flood, leaving behind 16 Robloxians who were later killed by flooding.
