Roblox City (Destroyed)

Roblox City was a city located in the state of Western Robloxia in the Eastern Robloxian Fault. The city had a population of over 1 million Robloxians and is well known for being completely destroyed by serious disasters in 2012, which killed majority of the population. The rest of the planet feared that the "end of the world" was near after the destruction. Many Robloxians paid tribute to the city.

Overview

The city was located in the state of Western Robloxia and was home to over 1 million Robloxians. Major tourist attractions were a replica of Roblox HQ, Telamon Peak and the beach, which is rarely visited during the cold days but becomes packed during summer. The cities climate is fairly average, with cold weather during spring and winter and hot weather during the summer, with colder weather and snow during winter. The airplanes at the airport carry an estimated 20M passengers a year.

Public Transport

Bus: Buses carried over 5 million passengers a year. The buses are owned by the Roblox City Transport Corporation. Buses come in many different colors, blue being most popular.

Metro: Roblox City Metro is a rapid transit system owned by the Roblox City Transport Corporation, carrying over 10M passengers a year. Construction started in 1987, finished and opened in 1992, just twenty years before the city was destroyed.

2012 Destruction of Roblox City Disaster and End of the World Rumors

On November 2, 2012, a few days after an earthquake hit Builderville and Bloxy City, another earthquake hit the city. Despite barely destroying anything in the area, the Builderman Dam burst from the shaking and the shaking even caused a sinkhole near the forest, which grew, causing the city to look like it was split in half. Only one Robloxian died from the shaking after falling into the hole. Once the quake was gone, Telamon Peak, a volcano once mistaken to be a mountain, erupted, destroying few parts of the city. 42 Robloxians were killed during the eruption. Death tolls worsened when a hurricane called Hurricane Baszucki struck the city. A whooping 5,122 Robloxians died by the hurricane. The city also became under attack by a tornado, which claimed the lives of 1,895 Robloxians. A thunderstorm then killed 6,341 Robloxians. The local power plant exploded, causing acid rain and killing 735 Robloxians. Robloxians who survived the rain had to stay indoors for protection. Builderman sent planes to Roblox City. The planes were later destroyed by a meteor shower, killing around 8,200 Robloxians in the city. Only one plane survived the shower; the last remaining plane later arrived at the airport. Unfortunately, the plane had extremely limited seats, which meant only a few Robloxians would survive if they made it to the airport in time and quickly. A helicopter also arrived at the Roblox HQ replica, which also saved survivors, but also had limited seats. Only less than 30 Robloxians survived the destruction. The remaining population were drowned by a megatsunami (1:02 AM, 1 November) before the city was completely swallowed by a huge flood (3:04 AM, 1 November). All those events were narrated by Bloxy Beats. In the aftermath, billions feared the "End of the World" was near, with rumors being printed on newspapers and magazines. In 2015, the city's flood has disappeared, but the city has become radioactive due to a toxic cloud created when the power plant exploded. This means people who are visiting the ruins must wear gas masks to prevent death.

Brief Recovery:

On 2019, the city would briefly recover until Halloween 2019 struck. Halloween 2019 would be an exact carbon copy of the destruction of the Roblox City disasters, except there was no speculation about a global apocalypse.

Affectations due to the Disaster

The aftermath of the disaster represented severe complications for those survivors, tourist and the economy in general. Roblox City represented a big part of their state GDP, being one of the principal nuclei of Robloxia, along with Bloxburg, Pacifico, etc. Three quarters of the city population have died due to the disaster. Some of the citizens could escape the city before the tunnels had been destroyed due to the initial earthquake. Some escaped through the mountains or by the sea, but the majority was trapped in the hell the city meant by the time. This is considered the biggest natural catastrophe worldwide.

The aftermath of the survivors was even more complicated. Those that escaped after the local power plant exploded had severe health complications due to the radiation and multiple health issues and diseases. The people that escaped before the local power plant exploded had everything lost. The government did not offer any financial support until 2014, which meant some of them had to visit hotels or sleep in the streets.

Trivia

• The city is massively confused with the other city in Robloxia named “Robloxity”, which is maybe why it is hilariously nicknamed "The Ripoff".

• It was one of the most visited cities by tourists in Robloxia.

• In 2019, one movie was made named "The End of Roblox", inspired by the disaster. It became one of the best-selling movies ever. It was so best-selling that it even caused Roblox City to regain some of its displaced population, but when Halloween 2019 struck, it became clear that this city was not meant to be inhabited permanently (or for at least seven years).
