Roblox City Metro was a rapid transit system that ran through Roblox City. Service was discontinued in 2019 after Roblox City was destroyed.
History
On May 20, 1998, buildings were being knocked down in some parts of the city for unknown reasons. On July 18, 2001, KaydenZombie8, the mayor, announced that the reason for why buildings had to be knocked down was because a metro that would run across the city was entering construction in a few years due to the population reaching 1 million people. Construction finally began on December 4, 2004. It was finished in April 2013. The metro was officially open for service on May 16, 2014. The metro consisted of 16 stations and received a generally positive reaction from citizens. The only criticism was that there were massive amounts of littering. The Metro was improved in December 2014 when all stations received platform doors. On Halloween 2019, disasters destroyed the city, killing most of the population and causing the metro system to permanently shut down.
