Peakala Harris (born October 20, 1964) is a Robloxian politician and attorney who served as a Senator from Bloxburg Valley from 2017 to 2023. A member of the Robloxian Reform Party, she was the party's nominee in the 2024 presidential election.

Born in San Bloxington, Bloxburg Valley, Harris graduated from San Bloxington State University. She began her political career in early 2014 when she ran as a candidate in the 2014 Reformist presidential primaries until she suspended her campaign to endorse Oliver Fisher. In 2016, she was elected to represent Bloxburg Valley in the Robloxian Senate. After her senatorship term had ended in 2023, she publically announced her campaign to run for president in the 2024 presidential election. Despite a strong showing in the primaries that secured her the Reformist nomination, her debate performances ultimately left her finishing third in the election.

Early Life

Harris was born on October 20, 1964 to her professional-class parents in San Bloxington, Bloxburg Valley. She has one sibling, her older sister, Romaya.

Political Career

2014 presidential campaign

After showing interest for running for president in late 2013, she publicly announced her candidacy for the 2014 presidential election in February 2014. On August 6, she attended her first and only primary appearance in the debates. Following mixed support for her candidacy, she suspended her campaign in late August to endorse presidential nominee, Oliver Fisher.

Senatorship

Once the 2016 Senate election came around, the incumbent Senator chose not to seek re-election in November of 2015. Harris announced her candidacy a few weeks later. Throughout her campaign, she was heavily favored for the position. After several endorsements by big political figures, she won the senate election, carrying just over 60% of the vote. During her time as a Senator, her approval rating slowly declined, after a few scandals including Harris were uncovered.

Primaries

Harris announced her intention to run as a Democrat in the 2024 presidential election. Going into the primaries, she was the prominent candidate, and remained the frontrunner throughout. By late June, she had secured the nomination. A few weeks later, she asked Otto von Manul-Pallas to be her running mate.

Going into the debates, Harris was 4th in the polls, behind incumbent president David Baszucki, Silverton mayor Mason Smith, and businessman Donald Trumpblox. After a decent performance in the first debate, polls showed that Harris was doing well on the eastern coast. Following the collapse of support of Baszucki, Harris' support grew, as she brought in more moderate voters, however, she wasn't able to emphasize her support for "change". After a poor performance during the second debate, her support was decreasing. On election day, she won 193 electoral votes, but following a recount, this would shrink to 119. Coming in a distant 3rd, she underperformed in strong Reformist bases. In her home state of Bloxburg Valley, she was only able to pickup 2 counties. Her disappointing finish was attributed by Scorpio and Trumpblox's claims, making her out to be "conniving" and "untrustworthy".
