History

Early Settlements and Explorers (1200–1600)

Before the arrival of Robloxian settlers, the area now known as Northern Falls was inhabited by various indigenous Robloxian tribes. These tribes lived close to nature, utilizing the surrounding forests, mountains, and the rivers for trade, exploration and culture. They established small villages along the riverbanks and on several hills.

In 1292, explorers from the Dush Empire arrived in Baine, and it was the beginning of external influences in the region. These settlers initially interacted with the local tribes, trading goods and exchanging knowledge. The Dush Empire, recognizing how useful the region would be, established small settlements and trading posts in the northeastern parts and other parts of Baine in which the northeastern parts include Northern Falls which is located today. These early settlements focused on fishing and gathering resources from the land.

Transition to Robloxian Rule (1500–1700)

By 1500, the Dush Empire transferred control of the region to the Robloxian Empire and other parts of the Carl Territories. Over the next few decades, the settlement of Northern Falls grew as more Robloxians arrived, having the desire in engaging with agriculture, trade, and lumber. However, the region remained less populated for several centuries due to the distance from other established major cities like Bluesand and Diamond City.

During the 17th century, Northern Falls was a quiet, rural region with a few notable developments. Most of the settlers were small landowners, farmers, and loggers. However, the sceneries and nature began to attract travelers and also settlers from nearby villages that would move there.

Industrial Growth and Expansion (1800–1865)

During the 19th century, Northern Falls had highly increased in industrial growth and population. The construction of new railroads throughout Baine, particularly the Robloxian-Eurobloxian Line, helped for easier transportation of goods and people. It also went through previously remote regions like Northern Falls.

Around the mid-1800s, logging was one of the primary industries in the region, due to the dense forests and hills which was scattered around Baine. Northern Falls saw the establishment of small lumber companies that processed wood for the expanding towns and cities in the state. During this time, trading was also quite successful through the river.

As numerous of more settlers moved in, Northern Falls also began to develop many parks and tourism. By the 1860s, the town had a lot of tourist attractions and had a higher population. There was also a statue made in 1852 based on the first mayor of the town, Walden White. The city was a great place having a high abundance of rich resources and was a quiet and peaceful rural area.

Corruption and Development (1865–1900)

After the civil war and reconstruction age throughout Baine, Northern Falls was also significantly impacted by the changes taking place throughout Baine, the whole state was influenced by corruption, poverty, and inequality in the post war years. While Darrel Burke was trying to stop this issue, Northern Falls, like many smaller towns in Baine, struggled with the economic drop.

During this time, Northern Falls was a town with a high amount of labour. Many workers worked in farms and primary sector industries struggling with high working hours but low wages. By the late 1800s, several improvements started being made and labour had decreased. The corruption and economic drop around the state also decreased due to Darrel Burke bringing back Joel Monroe’s policies which were very beneficial.

Darrel Burke's campaign for senator and his victory in 1870 brought positive changes to Northern Falls, and the town was influenced with improved street cleanliness, public health, and education throughout the state. At Northern Falls, more schools started being made as for the Education For All Act. This gave many more opportunities for the children in the town.
