Robloxian Empire

The Robloxian Empire, also called the Greater State of Robloxia, or simply Robloxia, was a country that existed on Roblox from 1367 to 1400, consisting of several states, one puppet state, and six territories. The greatest extent of the Robloxian Empire was in 1389, after the Robloxian Conquest, in which their territory expanded after wars with natives and colonization of the North Bloxmerican Continent.

History

Formation

In 1367, after the August Coup, the monarch Noobly II took over after claiming the throne from his father, Noobly Bloxington. Noobly II started the Robloxian Conquest, which lasted a few decades and resulted in expansion of their territory by colonization, native wars, and other events.

Rise of royal nationalism/patriotism in the empire

Noobly II brought the sense that Robloxia is a nation that deserves and has a right on the world stage and at one point, Noobly II said he would take over the entire planet and claim it for Robloxia. Robloxian flags were the only flags allowed in the empire and every citizen including those of enemy tribes that would constantly be invaded by the Robloxian military would be integrated by trying to 'overwrite' their nationality and try to give them the sense that they are and have always been Robloxian citizens.

Political instability in the Empire

After the Robloxian Conquests, Noobly II died of unknown reasons. Noobly III, his eldest son, succeeded, and he ruled over the empire for a decade before he abdicated due to a health condition, which we now know as dementia. A totalitarian monarch, Noobus Bloxington, Noobly II's cousin, succeeded to the throne. It was believed that Auguestus I would succeed due to him being the second oldest son in the Bloxington dynasty, however due to unknown reasons, Auguestus I went missing and was assumed dead. Noobus Bloxington was a terrible leader. To some Robloxians, he was described as the worst leader ever to lead the Robloxian Empire. He was power hungry and gradually turned the existing monarchy to a totalitarian system, attempting to curtail and even assassinate members of the royal cabinet and parliament. He imposed extreme working hours in the middle class, removed the freedom of the press clause, and more authoritarian decisions. Puppet states and Robloxians would even be turned to slaves working for him. Eventually, the Revolution of 1398 started, when several anti-right-wing groups started riots throughout Robloxia and proceeded to make generals and high-ranked army members turn against the Empire. Eventually, this led to the destruction of the Robloxian Empire. However, Noobus survived the destruction and used his slaves as a militia. This was the Coup of January 25th, 1400, the last ditch to save the Robloxian Empire.

1400 Coup

A coup from political organizations, groups and militias took place, causing the empire to shatter and collapse into multiple states, mostly being dominated by the proclaimed Second Republic of Robloxia led by builderman. At around 9AM in the morning, workers would shout "Bloxington is hanging from his dream of the Robloxian Junta" in ancient Robloxian, while hanging anti-Bloxington signs and shouting threats to Bloxington and his government. The rightful heir to the throne, Noobly IV declared himself the rightful leading king and denounced Bloxington's rule. This lead to a total split in the state as half of the country believed and protected the idea that Noobly IV was the true leading monarch, while the other half was loyal to Bloxington. Although a civil war would have happened, the Robloxian Empire was too unstable and Noobus Bloxington lost the loyalty of his soldiers, leading to him and a few loyal regiments to leave the palace and march to Storm Valley, however a crowd of workers and unloyal troops attacked, eventually leading to Noobus Bloxington's death in the battle. Noobly IV declared himself to be the new king of Robloxia, however he was not very popular (despite Noobly IV having a very high approval rating when he ruled over the Dominion of New Bloxia and Bloxanada) and his rule was not accepted. Noobly IV, fearing a forced abdication, left to his hometown in New Bloxia and stayed safe throughout his life due to the people of New Bloxia liking Noobly IV.

Multiple dictators, other lesser heirs and even some every-day citizens rose up and created their own countries. Along with a later declaration of "full-reform" from Builderman, the Robloxian Empire had completely been destroyed. New Bloxia and Bloxanada split into republics and most of the warlords and civilian dictatorship states were later annexed and integrated into the Second Republic of Robloxia.

The destruction of the Robloxian Empire and the rise of the Second Republic of Robloxia

After Noobus Bloxington was killed, the government had collapsed and warlord states rose up. The first president, builderman took office and declared that Robloxia was now a new state belonging to a new government, the Second Republic. The remaining puppet states and territories declared independence, which then became, Lafayette, Bloxico, and Bloxnada. The Second Robloxian Republic was proclaimed on January 26th, 1400. Later, the warlord states and breakaway states joined Robloxia due to their legitimacy being questioned.

Lafayette was not integrated into Robloxia because their government was a strong military dictatorship, having more regiments than Bloxico, a newly formed country 400 times the size of Lafayette. The military dictatorship eventually led to a new constitution and democratic government being put into place with free elections for every citizen.
