Diamond City is the largest city in the state of Baine and one of the most significant urban centers in Robloxia. It is located in the northeastern region of the state, and is a bustling large city known for its cultural diversity, industrial economy, and rich history. As of 2024, in the 2024 census, the city has a population of 1,070,941, making it the most populous city in Baine and one of the largest cities in Robloxia.
History
Early Settlement (1300–1600)
The area that is now Diamond City was first explored in the early 1300s by settlers from the Dush Empire. They established a small trading post along the Diamond River, which served as a place for the exchange of goods such as lumber and fish. By the 1500s, the territory was transferred to the Robloxian Empire, and the settlement began to grow as part of the Carl Territories.

In the early 1600s, the town became a good location due to its short distance from the coastline and its access to other useful resources on land. It was officially called as Diamond Point in 1623, due to its attracting scenery during sunrise. Over time, the town expanded, and more settlers and merchants would move in. The town’s population quickly expanded through this time.
Industrial Growth (1800–1865)
By the 19th century, Diamond City contained numerous of industrial buildings in it. Its abundance of natural resources, including lumber and minerals, supported the growth of several factories. The introduction of railways during the mid 1800s connected Diamond City to other parts of Robloxia, supporting the economy and growth.
However, the Robloxian Civil War brought challenges, including economic disruptions and a decline in population growth. However, the city had a good location and that made it have enough supply during the conflict, however there was a lot of devastation after the massive conflict.
Reconstruction Era (1865-1900)
During Baine’s Reconstruction Age, Diamond City went through significant development. Senator Darrel Burke helped improve the economy and infrastructure significantly during the 1870s and 1880s, and brought back many regulations and things which Joel Monroe implemented such as the Main Street Act. Burke also started the construction of the Robloxian-Eurobloxian Line.

In 1900, a photograph of the city by Paul Green showed the city’s quick growth, with new high buildings, modern rail stations, and the city’s crowded streets. The population nearly doubled during this period, and the city continued to evolve and expand during this time.
Geography and Climate
Diamond City is situated around the Diamond River, which flows through the city and into the Sea. The city is approximately 73 square miles, having a mix of urban, suburban, and natural areas. Nearby the city, there are several hills which add on to the climate. Diamond City normally experiences a cool climate having snowy winters and it is often warm in summers. The climate is another reason why many tourists visit the city.
Government and politics
The city’s mayor is Harry Bloxander who has served the position since 2019. The city has also gained recognition for being politically stable with relatively less competition.
