No More Poverty Act

The No More Poverty Act is a Robloxian congressional bill passed by both houses of the Robloxia Congress and signed by President John Puma on June 9, 2026. The act introduced an advanced nationwide program to combat poverty under the name of Second Chance and help poor robloxians advance in society. Votes were again aligned on party lines, with the Robloxian Conservative Party and Robloxian Reform Party being divided. The Corporatist Party and Robloxian Conservative Party argued the poverty relief which would give robloxians below the poverty line a wage above the poverty line would create national debt. Meanwhile, the Communist Party of Robloxia, Lime Party, New Voldex Party, Progressive Party, and Robloxian Reform Party argued that poverty is a nationwide problem that must be eradicated if national debt is not to be felt by the average citizen, further arguing that while eradicating poverty in the short term generates some costs, in the long term it will help reduce national debt and improve quality of life.
