National Agency of Intelligence

The National Agency of Intelligence (NAI) is the supreme federated body overseeing all Robloxian government intelligence and subordinate organizations. Tasked with the protection of Robloxian foreign policy and national security, the NAI coordinates the activities of military, civilian, and federal intelligence offices.

The NAI is headed by the Director of Robloxian Intelligence (DoRI), whose statutory leadership is exercised through the Office of the Director of Robloxian Intelligence (ODoRI).

The NAI is a component of the Roblox Anomalous Community and the Brookhaven Agency.

History

Pre-History

1877: Leo is angered and shows contempt for Mr. Brookhaven's after his departure from their shared residence.

1880: Leo is evicted after attempting to organize an early iteration of the NAI within his private residence. The attempt is a total failure due to a lack of infrastructure and funding.

1886: Mr. Brookhaven provides Leo with a "Crystal" of significant value. Leo liquidates the Crystal for '''R$2,000,000'''. Within 24 months, the entire sum is exhausted in an ill-fated attempt to build a timber monopoly (Wood Factory).

1888: Leo issues a R$100,000 bounty for the capture of Mr. Brookhaven. The operation fails, further draining Leo's dwindling resources.

1890: Leo's motivation turned to envy upon discovering that Mr. Brookhaven’s net worth had reached R$50,000,000, And planned to create the NAI with the sole purpose of dismantling the Brookhaven legacy.

Normal History

1891: The NAI is officially founded.


1897: Leo, the first owner of the NAI, made a speech that was remembered.

Mr. Brookhaven... the Primary Target of this Agency. we are here to get rid of him and every last one of our enemies and tear their property to the ground. Mr. Brookhaven left me to punish me—to make me rot alone—but we are going to make this the OPPOSITE! He thought he could leave? He thought I was nothing? We'll see about that. are you with me?!!

In December 8th, 1900, Mr. Brookhaven found out about the agency Leo was creating and took advantage of a carriage motorcade to kill him. However, it was too late; the NAI already had appointed its first vice leader. The vice leader said that he would resort to kidnapping. It took five years of rampaging, beginning in 1901 throughout Brookhaven to get the resources needed for the kidnapping. A plan was formulated in 1906 and was put into action in 1908, when Mr. Brookhaven was sent to a prison cell in the headquarters. He was accused for fraud, scams, and attempted assassination. However, due to an infrastructural weakness found in the prison cell, he managed to dent the prison cell bars using only his wooden stick and creating a literal escape hole within five days. The NAI never reacted to this.

In 1920, the NAI decided it might be fun to capture Mr. Brookhaven again. Prior to this, the prison cell bars were upgraded to a metal with a much higher durability. The increased durability ensured that Mr. Brookhaven would not be able to escape as easily as he did on the first try. In 1927, the NAI found Mr Brookhaven and captured him. After a second successful capture, the NAI rebranded simply as "The Agency."

Golden Era

1937: The Agency successfully assassinated Mr. Brookhaven. The agent described him as a potential assassin of the NAI.

1938: The agency ran mayoral debate messages that lead to Wolfpag's loss.

1948: The agency killed Wolfpaq III.

1962: The agency forced Wolfpaq's wife to make a divorce for them and forced Wolfpaq's wife to marry another man.

1975: Formal alliance established with the Federal Surveillance Bureau.

1997: Fang Zhang, the leader of the Bloxburg Triads was ambushed and killed for trading guns to Wolfpag for defense. However, Agent Brooks defected from The Agency.

1999: They managed to destroy Bloxstar 990Y by pouring gasoline in the plane (the plane was flammable). This killed Ike, Aidenleewolf, and Wag at the same time. The Agency's name change was reverted to the NAI.

2001: The NIA crashes a Starbasis Corporation Cargo Hauler straight into the surface of one of New Ohios moons, rendering the technology utterly useless and killing 2 Starbasis Corp crew members onboard.

Shutdown

2008:

The NAI building's plumbing was neglected for over a century. As such, the building's plumbing pipes on the underground floors started to leak, dripping sewer water slowly. While the dripping was slow enough that normal operations could be proceeded without significant disruption to the work, the NAI decided to create a mountain out of a hill and call a plumber to fix it. While the plumber was performing maintenance on the plumbing, the building crumbled. 53,289 Robloxians were killed, and 173,289 Robloxians were injured. The NAI building also housed an explosive, which was much more powerful than any Robloxian explosive, as the blast radius exceeded 100 studs (91.86 feet). When the building crumbled, the sudden increase in atmospheric pressure caused by the crumble caused the explosive to self-detonate, causing everything within a 2,389 stud (2,195 feet) radius to be destroyed. 3,812 police officers at the neighboring police departments were killed and 6,378 were injured as the blast pressure wave passed through their infrastructure, causing significant damage but not total destruction. A mine in the NAI building was not detonated by the increase of the atmospheric pressure, but was flung by the air blast to one rail of the nearby train tracks.

A train numbered 2611-5000 that was originally planned to operate Train Line 2 from Amazeman Central to AMS Medical Center but somehow got lost all thanks to the conductor of the train using the wrong transportation maps was about to cross the mined train tracks. With eight cars containing 678 passengers, the train touched the mine with one of its many wheels, causing the mine to detonate. Due to the blast pressure, the train cars suddenly lifted themselves out of the tracks, reaching a peak altitude of 2,589 studs (2,378 feet). The train then crashed back to the ground, killing 354,273 Robloxians. This death toll count even included the impacts of the mine and the ground-train inelastic collision.

The NAI was rapidly rebuilt following the disastrous events. The NAI lost a lot of money due to these events and an agent had stolen a hefty amount of money during his defection. They have moved their headquarters to Bloxburg to prevent further destruction. However, the success of the NAI was fleeting, and its operations were significantly downscaled to the point where only the leader of the NAI was considered to be affiliated with the NAI.

Rebirth

2020: Under Director Gary Branks, the NAI was reactivated following a massive capital injection from Furry Headquarters. The agency shifted from a vendetta-based organization to a state-funded government entity, modernizing its policies and stabilizing its funding.
