Etta is an animated adventure television series that was created by Samantha Barnes for the children's programming network Children's Avast Television. It was produced by Bloxy Animation Productions and marketed by Avast Television. Serving as a spin-off to the television series Robloxians, the series follows the adventures of the title character and her Wither as they travel around the world seeing new locations, making new friends and creatures and learning new powers. The series premiered in the United States on January 5, 2024, with episodes released weekly for nearly two years, eventually running for four seasons and concluding on January 12, 2026, two days before its predecessor's finale. The Spanish dub of the series was produced by Producciones Cinematográficas de Summerscreen and premiered on Robloxian Educational Television on June 22, 2024, with the final episode airing on April 11, 2026. During the series' runtime, over six specials aired, each of which served as an episode in all of the seasons; the first three special episodes aired during the first season, and the final special aired during the fourth season. Unlike the Robloxians television series, which had all episodes successfully dubbed and broadcasted, a couple of episodes were banned from being produced in the Spanish dub or in other countries.[1]
The series takes place around the same time as the main television series, with only a few storylines functioning as plot points throughout the season. Like its predecessor, the series take place in the Robloxians universe, where each person born into the world is given a random number, and they are all referred to as "villagers." In addition, the series portrays kingdoms as being superior to cities, governed by kings or queens, with Medieval architecture, but with a smaller population due to wealth and taxation; other villagers regularly visit the kingdoms. There are two universes, one called "Heaven" and the other "Nether," with a few more that are "imaginary worlds" and have not yet been thoroughly investigated. The majority of the world's development takes place on and around the "big ones," or large islands, however 70% of all islands are smaller and home to one or more populations. Certain places have unique ecosystems that are different from one another; these include plain environments, which are the most common in the world, woodland environments, sand environments, and snow environments.
