The first season of the animated television series Etta, developed by Samantha Barnes, originally began broadcasting in the United States on Children's Avast Television from January 5, 2024 through August 30 of that year, and in Bloxico on Robloxian Educational Television from June 22, 2024 through January 4, 2025, containing 32 episodes and three specials. The television series chronicles the adventures of the titular character and her female Wither, alongside with Bob as they discover new places, meet new people and animals, and pick up new abilities while exploring the globe. The Spanish-language adaptation of the season, due to some major controversies from the English-language version, left out two episodes, declining the total number of episodes to 30.
The English-language version was animated by Bloxy Animation Productions and Tokyo Studio and the Spanish-language adaptation was produced by Producciones Cinematográficas de Summerscreen, a Spanish studio. Four musical pieces are used throughout the season; only one for the Spanish version and three for the English version. Charles West and Nikolas Edwards' "The New Adventure of Etta and Bob" serves as the first English opening song for the first 25 episodes and all three specials, voiced by Dexter Morgan in English and Antonio Jesus Melero in Spanish. The same duo also contributed two original songs, "Etta! Bob!" (which wasn't used and was originally sang by Ben Johnson) and "The Laughter and the Many Future Adventures!", that served as the second opening song for the remaining episodes. The first season's only ending song is "Sunrise! Sunset!", voiced by Robert Williams Jones in English and Gala Montilla in Spanish. The Spanish opening song is "A New World!" ("¡Un nuevo mundo!") by Juan Jose Enríquez, Neizan Briones and Marcos Sangüesa.
