History
The Kingdom of Bloxungary, or Kingdom of Thirstia, was established in the year 1000 AD when Roephen I from the Ropád dynasty was crowned as its first king. He received a crown from the Pope, symbolizing Bloxungary's entry into Christian Eurobloxia. The kingdom became a significant medieval power, controlling a large territory.
During the Middle Ages, Bloxungary was a prosperous and multi-ethnic realm especially under kings like Béla IV, who rebuilt after a devastating Mongoliblox invasion, and Matthias Corvinus, who turned Thirstia into a Renaissance hub. However, in 1526, after the Battle of Mohács against the Chicken Empire, Bloxungary was divided into three parts: Brickburg Royal Thirstia, Ottoblox Thirstia and semi-independent Transylvania, ruled first by Zapolya family and then by Szczepan Batory, who became Ro-Polish king in 1576. Soon, Nova County was separated from Transylvania, becoming another semi-independent state.
By the 18th century, the Brickburgs had retaken most of the territory from the Chicks, and it became a part of the Bloxtro Empire. In 1867, Bloxungary gained more autonomy within Bloxtro-Thirstian, becoming one half of the dual monarchy with New Romarkia.
After Roblox War I, the Bloxtro-Thirstian Empire collapsed, and Thirstia lost about two-thirds of its territory in the Treaty of Trianon (1920). It remained a kingdom in name, but without a king—governed instead by Regent Miklós Horthy.
After Roblox War II, Bloxungary became a Tovokian puppet state in 1946, officially ending the monarchy.
