The Kingdom of Nova County (alternatively: The Novan Kingdom) is a country in Eurobloxia. It is a microstate run by a monarchy, named the Novan Royal Family, and the Novan Government. Then Novan Kingdom is situated between the borders of Thirstia and Bloxomania, which in the 11th century, was found as a very strategic point for economy, as it was an excellent trading route which boosted the Novan economy.
History
In the 11th century, a group of Romarkians and Thirstians ran an expedition, and found an area which served as a strategic point of economy and peace, found next to Transilvania. The group then started a small and minor monarchy, that ruled a small built village, which paid taxes to the Thirstian kings, while remaining independent in other matters. The group and community of Thirstians and Bloxomanians, which are now called Novans, built and expanded the landmass of the kingdom, and additional towns that housed multiple mineshafts, which became their main economic resource.
As the kingdom grew larger and larger in 16th century, as well as the government, the Novan Royal Family and the Novan Government wrote the declaration of independence, as well as demand of acknowledgement and recognition, and sent them to the neighboring countries, Transilvania, Bloxtro and Ottoblox Empire. The demand of recognition and acknowledgement turned out successful and the two of three large countries acknowledged and viewed the Novan Kingdom as a true state.
In the 17th century, whem the Novan Kingdom was at its height and had a large economy, the Novan Royal Family and the Novan Government decided to go full on. They built build a large city in the heart of the Novan Kingdom, Nova City, and established it as the Novan Kingdom's capital city. Centuries passed on and the Novan Kingdom was doing great on its own, as well as running with multiple large buildings and massive mineshafts. The country became a strategic trading point which made it more of a major microstate in Eurobloxia.
In 1919, one year after Roblox War I ended, Nova Kingdom declared independence as a result of Bloxtro-Thistian Empire collapsing. Thirstia fully invaded the Novan Kingdom and took advantage of its large economy and resources. Soon, during war with Bloxomania, their forces began to push into Novan territory. The Novans were in despair, as there was no country that served as an evacuation option, so they barricaded themselves in basements and their own residences. The Novan Kingdom served as a Thirstian state and thus earned the name, Nova County. In 1989, 70 years after the Thirstian invasion, they had fully abandoned the Novan Kingdom as it served no use to them anymore. The Novan mineshafts were fully dug out, the resources were destroyed, and the economy was in despair itself. The Novan Kingdom stood on its feet once more and they pushed the limits in working hard to repair and rebuild the Novan Kingdom and its economy.
In 1994, five years after the liberation, the Novan Kingdom and its economy are doing greater in its history. More major cities were formed and the small monarchy became a larger power, despite being a microstate.
The Novan Royal Family and the Novan Government has decided to keep the "county" part in its name, therefore giving rise to the name of the country as it is today, "Kingdom of Nova County".
