Interblox 33 is a north–south intrastate highway in Keysota that begins south of Keysota State Route 5 and ends north of Keysota State Route 26. It travels through Cherokee, Beltrami, and Wadena Counties before exiting the state. It has been proposed to become an Interblox highway as it will extend south to Lillewell, Rossota, where it will meet with Interblox 28.
History
September 20, 1958: Interblox 33 was built as a two-lane highway, as Interblox 57.
May 31, 1987: The North Keysota and the Hazelton exit section was expanded to a four-lane road.
April 18, 2001: The Interblox was completely expanded to a four-lane road.
December 1, 2023: Interblox 57 was renumbered to Interblox 33.
December 2024 - 2025: The North Keysota and Hazelton section will be repaved due to bad road surface conditions.
Route Description:
Interblox 33 begins at the state line south of Keysota State Route 5. It crosses over the Wentachee River (i.e. the Cherokee-Beltrami County Line) via an unnamed bridge. It crosses over the Beltrami-Wadena County Line before exiting the state.
