As one of two entry points into Hokanda (the other being a route being built that would connect to Ro London) it is the main defense for the city. Heavily armed guards watch the area and ensure traffic does not enter the city that shouldn't or escape into the tunnel into Greenville, Wisconsin. It also stands as one of Furry Headquarters protective measures that has been quite well at its job.

Some of the site's emergency statuses:
- Code Red: Confirmed attackers nearing the gates.
- Solution: Full blockage of the gates.
- Code Black: Illegal items found in car attempting to enter. (Illegal Contrabands or Firearms)
- Solution: Detainment of the smugglers.
- Code Blue: Ambulance entering or exiting the gates.
- Solution: Complete clearage of the side that is needed to be driven through.
- Code Orange: Fire in the checkpoint.
- Solution: Blockage and evac of the checkpoint until fire teams arrive.
- Code Cyan: Bomb found in the checkpoint.
- Solution: Total lockdown.
- Code Lime: Uncompliant Entrant.
- Solution: Removal of subject to let them calm down or get arrested for disorderly conduct if severe.
- Code White: Emergency drill.
- Solution: Blockage of the gates until drill has ended.
- Code Green: All threats to safety has been neutralized.
- Solution: Continue Operations
