The Great 2024 Roblox-wide internet outage was one of the worst losses of communication in Roblox history.
The start:
It started on October 8th of 2024 at 7:37pm in Robloxia when Microblox was conducting a routine cyber security update. A piece of the code had broke and caused all connection to the internet in Robloxia and quickly Bloxanada and Bloxico soon were affected. It quickly affected places like Romarkia, Bloxia Kingdom, Coneland, and Rogaulia then later all of Eurobloxia. It then got to affecting the rest of Roblox.
During the outage:
All airports had to cancel all flights
All services, banks, emergency services, military, electricity, transportation, and government went down.
People started wondering if the outage would have a effect on the outcome of the 2024 Robloxian presidential election due to the loss of data on voting casted when the outage had started.
End of the outage:
The outage ended on October 9th of 2024 at 2:35pm after a emergency reversal of the broken code had been put in.
