Genma Scorpian is a cricketer who played for the Bloxjiado Cricket Team. He is from Bloxjiado and currently lives in Massagaf. He is 46 years old.

Career

Domestic Cricket

BKFCT

Genma Scorpian made his debut for Massagaf Cricket Club in the 2004-05 Bazomja Kamakmal First Class Trophy. He was and is an all rounder. He finished the tournament with 1,004 runs, the most in the season, five centures, one double century, three half centuries.

List-A

In 2005, he made his debut in the Dahanani List-A Team and later transferred to the Massagaf List-A team in 2007.

Bloxstralian Bash League - Cricket

Scorpian made his debut in the BBL-C in their inaugural season (see 2011-12 Bloxstralian Bash League - Cricket). He played for Perth Scorchers. He transferred to Brisblox Heat in BBL-C 02 in which he and his team won. From 2013 to 2017, Scorpian played for Bloxeydney Thunder. He shifted to Bloxeydney Sixers in 2018 and became their captain in BBL-C 07. He won BBL-C 09 and 10 for Bloxeydney Sixers. Till this day, he is their captain.

Cricket Bloxjiado Premier League

In 2016, Scorpian joined the Kemblox Kings and was with them until 2018. In 2019, he joined Qembasa Gladiators and won the 2019 CBPL for them. In 2022, he joined Massagaf Strikers.

Ro-Indi Premier League

Scorpian joined the Rajasthanians Royal Monarchies in the inaugural edition of the RIPL in 2008. The RRM won the inaugural edition of the RIPL. Later in 2009, he joined Chennai Super Kings. He stayed with them until 2015. In 2016, he joined Rising Pune Supergiant and played with them until 2017. He was forced to quit the RIPL after the 2017 edition by Cricket Bloxjiado due to political tensions between Ro-Indi and Pakistain.

Pakistain Super League

Scorpian joined the PSL in 2021 playing for the RoMultan Sultans. In 2023, he joined Lahore Qalandars. In 2026, he joined Basialkot Stallionz.

International Career

Genma Scorpian made his debut for the Bloxjiado Cricket Team on December 22, 2008 in the Bloxjiado vs Telamon Islands Cricket Match. Genma made 71* (30). It was a T20I. He made his ODI debut in 2010 in the 2011 RCC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers against Urugblox. Although Bloxjiado failed to qualify for the tournament, he had the second most highest wickets in the Qualifiers.

In the RCC Men’s World Twenty20 2012, Scorpian played very well, scoring a century and a few half-centuries.

In the 2015 Cricket World Cup, Genma Scorpian was noted to be the only good player of Bloxjiado in that tournament because most Bloxji players were not good. This was due to most of the main players preferring to play in BBL-C 05 over the World Cup, while Genma returned to the BBL on January 2016. Due to the shortage of the main players, Cricket Bloxjiado had to bring about 75% of the List A Bloxjiado players into the squad.

In 2023, after Bloxjiado obtained full membership from the RCC, Scorpian made his test debut on May 21, 2023. The test match was against Bloxstralia, which Bloxjiado won.

In the RCC Cricket World Cup 2025, Genma Scorpian made Bloxjiado win the world cup after he and the team had a magnificent and famous performance in the world cup.

ODI and Test Cricket Retirement

In November 2025, Scorpian announced his retirement from ODI and Test Cricket. He wanted to focus more on T20I, and said that after the 2026 T20I World Cup, he will fully retire from International Cricket. He was the captain of Bloxjiado in all formats, but since his retirement, he is only their T20I captain and will be their captain until the T20I World Cup which will be his last assignment as a captain.

T20I Retirement

On January 19, 2026, after the match versus Bloxstralia, Scorpian retired from T20I cricket at the age of 46, which meant he retired from all forms of international cricket due to his ODI and Test retirement. He scored 54 (18) and 6-4 in his last ever cricket match. He was the oldest player to ever play in cricket.
