Niko Gusev, (Born December 14, 1996 - December 31, 2017) was a Keviabloxian - Robloxian rapper born in St. Kingsville, North Bloxifornia, to parents Michael Gusev, and Olga Brei. He is a rapper most known for his songs about depression and drug abuse. His most famous songs are Lost In The Shadows (2017) and, Lost In The City Lights (2016) and Broken Dreams (2015). His family is originally from Keviabloxia, while he was born in Robloxia, making Gusev half Keviabloxian, and half Robloxian. In 2014, he launched his music career on Rostagram, at age 17. His career lasted from the years of 2014-2017, after Mist had overdosed in the back of a private jet. He is known as the basis for Goth Rap, a style of rap dedicated towards Goth's and emo's. His first song to become famous was Broken Dreams (2015)  amassing roughly 196 million Listeners globally. From this point on, he would create two other more popular songs, Lost in The City Lights, (2016)  and, The Shadows (2017)  he amassed a total of 516M global listeners.
Early Life, Education, and Success
On December 14th, 1996, in St. Kingsville, North Bloxifornia, Niko Gusev was born to parents Michael Gusev, and Olga Brei. He would live in the town up till about age 18 in January 2015, At the 2000 census, the population of St. Kingsville was 120,567. After his music began to take off, he moved to Miablox, Blorida. His parents became divorced when he was seven years old. In 2003, his mother Olga, moved back to Keviabloxia, while Gusev stayed in St. Kingsville, and would attend Kingsville Hills Secondary School, and later attend Granite Hills High School. He would become known as the emo kid around school, known for his roast songs against other people. Later in 2014, he would graduate high school while being in the schools marching and band class. He was described as a funny and good marching band student in his high school years from 2010-2014. Following his birthday in December 2014, after his father kicked him out the day after his 18th birthday, Gusev would travel to Pacifico City,  in South Bloxifornia. While being interviewed on Jumpers Jam Podcast, he stated that he had been living near a highway, and that this was the spot where his drug addiction started. He tried cocaine for the first time while being homeless. Later, in January 2015, he was put into a homeless shelter, where he would remain for the next two months. Here, shelter workers attempted to help Gusev by making him try out different jobs, but nothing was really working. However, on one day in February 2015, he had decided to try a musical related interest, and had got into a local recording studio, where he met rapper George Bloxord. Bloxord had initially asked for money to record in the studio, but after hearing Gusev freestyling, Bloxord stated on a TV Talk Show after his death, saying, "When I first heard him freestyling, I just knew that he had that talent in him." Bloxord helped Mist produce his first song, in about March 2015, named, Broken Dreams (2015)  Gusev got help from Bloxord to release the song to Rostagram. The song began to go crazy viral, and in April 2015, he was signed by Bloxburg Records for 4.9 million R$. Gusev, now known as "Niko Playa" or "NK Sledge" He would call himself "NK Sledge" since the rapper considered it more appealing to an Emo style. He used the name, "Niko Playa". Typically, at the start of his songs was a voice act by his girlfriend. On July 23rd, 2016, he released, Lost in the City Lights (2016)  where he talked about his experiences being homeless and smoking crack. Niko was considered an A-List Rapper at his peak.
Drug Addiction
It was apparent in many of his songs, that Niko was addicted to several drugs. Including, but not limited to: Methamphetamine, Crack Cocaine, Weed, Perc's, Heroine, Fentanyl, and Xanax. Gusev stated the first time he tried drugs was in January 2015, when he was offered cocaine by another homeless man, to which, he reluctantly took it. Niko stated that this was the worst mistake in his entire life, stating later on the Jumpers Jam Podcast, "Like, if I could literally change anything I did in my entire fucking' life, that'd be the one thing. I thought money would help stop it, but it didn't. It just made it worse." Several Rostagram and Bloxtok videos leaked of him trying Xanax, and Perc's while on camera. One video showed Gusev smoking a cigar with Fentanyl, Xanax, Weed, and Crack inside the Cigar, on November 15th, 2016. On that day, Niko
was rushed to the hospital where he was luckily able to survive, and was sent to a Rehab center in Minnecana, Blorida. He left after just seven days, stating on social media, "Finally I'm done with this shit" on Bwitter, however, he later stated, "I just wanted to do less of it I guess, but not like, stop it." According to the rapper's friend, George Bloxord, who had helped him produce his first song, stated, "He was trying to limit it, but not stop it. That's the step he was taking. However, his addiction got in the way of him, and that's what killed him."
Death
Earlier on December 30th, 2017, after he had finished a North American tour, and was departing from a private airport, not too far from Coeptus International Airport, using a chartered flight paid for via his record label, the Chartered Plane would be operated by a Rodova Airlines Pilot. The plane was set to depart around 9:30 PM. However, due to overcrowding at a recent concert, they had been delayed for three hours. There were multiple other celebrities on the flight, Including, but not limited too; George Bloxord, WestCoastKing, Lil Keltec, Trayvon Yates,  and Lil Diesell. They were either friends of his, or Bloxord's. While on the trip, multiple Bloxtok and Rostagram videos were posted showing them partying on the plane, and one of them showed Mist chugging a large amount of vodka, which was one of the factors that lead to his death, after a large amount of alcohol was listed in the autopsy. A few hours before his death, he posted a Ro-Twitter post alongside an image on Ro-Twitter, showing a large sum of weed in front of him, while the caption had read, "Man I lost my progress" The picture was taken on the private jet during the taxi to the runway. The plane was taking a seven-hour long trip from Bloxburg Valley,  all the way to Miablox, Blorida. During the flight, they had been partying at around 1:27 AM In the early morning hours of December 31st, 2017. They had been partying for the last 2 hours, and Mist's system was building up on drugs. According to Trayvon Yates, a friend of Mist, "He would go to the bathroom every 4 or 5 minutes and sniff or take some stuff so that he could keep his energy up. He was used to going to sleep early for tours, however, he had to stay up to party with us, I think." At around 1:30 AM, Rapper Lil Keltec, attempted to wake Mist up after he had passed out in a plane seat. and that he was unresponsive. After checking for a pulse via a flight attendant, the pilot proceeded to make an emergency landing at Miablox International Airport. There, fans had already been waiting to get pictures of Gusev. Multiple famous photos were taken of Gusev being carried out by two pilots, he was then taken onto a helicopter, where he was airlifted to Miablox Emergency Hospital CARE/ System. He was pronounced dead at around 6:27 AM on December 31st, 2017.
Aftermath
It was announced on 2:07 PM On December 31st, 2017, that famous rapper, Lil Mist, had tragically passed just a few hours to still unknown causes according to Palm County Police Department. Many people became angry and sad, and many users posted about how they missed him. A vigil was held for him at his childhood home in St. Kingsville, North Bloxifornia. His funeral was held at the Musicians Hall of Fame in Retropolis, Rohio. He was later buried in the Miablox Memorial Gardens, on January 9th, 2018. For the very first time, his father would see his son and attend the funeral. An unknown brother of Lil Mist would show up. Belongings of the artist were sent to multiple Music and Rap museums all across Robloxia.
Autopsy (State of Blorida, Medical Examiner James E. Shultz.)
The autopsy took place on January 1st, 2018, and was released on January 4th, 2018. The official cause of death was multiple seizures; drug overdose, and a heart-attack. A large amount of vodka had caused him to pass out quicker, causing him to die much quicker. He had 13 pre-rolls of weed in his system, 179 grams of methamphetamine, (29 Grams above the safe limit) 30 mg of crack, cocaine, 0.9 grams of Xanax (4 Grams above safe limit) 41 mg of heroin, and 1.9 mg of fentanyl. (0.9 Above fatal limit) It was later discovered after a K-9 Unit sniffed the plane, that Lil Mist had roughly 15 more pounds of drugs inside his two suitcases. Other suitcases of other passengers were searched, showing a total of 56 LBS (pounds), 41 pounds more than Gusev had in his bag. Other contents of the search include, but are not limited too; Jewelry, Gold, Cash, 3 Pre-Roll sticks, and 6.7 Grams Of Lean, as well as multiple Credit Cards, his ID, and Driver's License were found. His official cause of death was a hybrid of multiple seizures; drug overdose; and a heart-attack.
