Charles Derek Lord Yates IV
Lord Yates, (March 22, 1766 - December 18, 1836) was a Robloxian Industrialist during the early 1800's, He attended Saint MacLean Business School, and graduated at the class of 1788. He came from a wealthy family of gold miners and diamond miners. His estimated net worth was $12.5 million (R$387,305,555 in 2024 R$). He is the second richest person in history from Bloxland.
Birth
On March 22, 1766, John Derek Lord Yates III, and his mother, Mary Solomon, into a wealthy household in New Bloxia. He was their only child and was put into a heavily religious household.
Early Life And Education
At age six, he began attending Rittenhouse Academy, In Ro-England. He graduated after 5 years, in 1777. His family moved to Bloxburg Valley, where he would attend Heinrich Day School, he would graduate after 7 years in 1784, at age 18. He would then go to business school, where he would attend for 9 years, and graduated at age 27. He would stay in the state of Rohio, after he had begun to work his way up the chain towards a wealthier life.
January 1817
In January 1817, at age 50, he had purchased several plots of land in the state of Rohio, through multiple settlements. After his land-grant via the state of Rohio, Yates focused on a settlement named Flanders, (Westdale's former name) it was stated that this was his largest land purchase out of the 7 plots he purchased, roughly 1,800 acres of land in the area alone. Combined with other plots, he would own 3,000 acres. On January 21st\\, 1817, Nathan Whetten, a Christian missionaries' from Bloxanada, met him in Rohio while traveling through via wagon. Whetten' proposed the idea of building a university, Yates' declined at first, however, after Whetten pursued him with a few reasons, such as land tax, and not having too much tax for it since it is a university of the state, he reluctantly agreed.
Founding University of Rohio at Westdale
On October 20th, 1817, after months of building and planning, The University of Rohio At Westdale was finished. Yates had also built a small three-bedroom and two-bathroom home with a basement and wine cellar. He had built as a temporary estate. A day later, a representative from Rohio appeared at the university, in order to grant the land as a university, therefore, it cannot be bought nor sold, and that also belonged to Rohio.
