The Redwood G-Riot was an 11 day stand-off between inmates of Redwood Correctional Facility and state employees, most notably police officers and military personnel that lasted from October to November of 2017, in response to the 3G Tragedy. The conflict ended with a decisive victory for the inmates and the subsequent abandonment of Redwood Prison.

Inmates head to the cafeteria in the morning to read a new copy of the weekly paper. By breakfast, the entire prison is aware of the 3G Tragedy - the genocide that wiped out Guests. The inmates began to blame the officers, as they worked for the Robloxia Government which, at the time, had taken a huge part in the genocide.
By lunch, officers reported that the atmosphere of the prison had become 'tense'. At 12:40 p.m., a Bloxburg governor visited the prison. Police escorted him around the premise.
Walworth and Bloxburg as a whole had large Guest populations and many of the inmates were either friends with or were even in relationships with Guests. To have a governor who gave away his citizens for nothing to be walking around the prison a free man was preposterous to them.
At 1:50 p.m., a prisoner named Ronald Bloxasibo led a small group of inmates and, utilising the fact that most of the police were in the courtyard or escorting the governor, they broke into the armory. As soon as they were armed, they executed the two police officers stationed in the security room. After 4 minutes only, nearly all the inmates were armed - just under 400.
At 1:59 p.m., a police officer learnt what happened and triggered a total prison lockdown, before being shot to death by an inmate named Yuzuf. Amongst the inmate faction was notorious fraudster and basketball player JuliusColesV2, famous celebrities-turned-sex-traffickers MisterObvious and Fave, and notorious gang leader Nectar, among other famous criminals.
By 2:30, the cell area, the cafeteria, the armory and the gym were all under inmate control. Police attempted to retake the building but they underestimated the efforts of the inmates and were driven back.
By 9:30, 8 inmates had been killed and 15 officers had been killed. The inmates slept on rotation so they did not get caught off guard.
29th of October 2017
This day was the second most brutal day. With enough ammo to expend, the officers forced the door open early in the morning and a massive shootout began in the gym/reception area. This fight was a decisive loss for the inmates - 80 of them were killed here, meanwhile 39 officers were killed in the firefight. The officers managed to push the inmates to the cafeteria, but they could not yet reach the armory.
At 2:30 p.m., a prisoner named ReginaldYes used a hammer to shatter a vent covering at the back of the cell block. This gave him access to the roof. By 4:30, snipers were situated on the roof.
At 5:23 p.m., the governor attempted to flee the facility in a flimsy prison car. A prisoner named JuneDay62 fired his sniper and killed the governor as he sped off. The car crashed and destroyed the ticket booth at the front gate. This meant that the front gate was sealed shut and no one could leave or enter.
At night, officers threw a grenade into the armory, which killed 3 inmates.
3Oth of October 2017
The inmates had managed to get down from the roof. Now, the helipad and the back courtyard of the prison were under their control too. The ladders used to scale the prison walls had all been destroyed, however, and none of the inmates knew how to fly a helicopter either.
This day was relatively peaceful, as only 6 people died, and they were all officers.
At 10:30 p.m., after 3 days of standing off, the police officers called in a SWAT squadron for backup.
31st of October 2017
The SWAT team began a full on assault through the front entrance. An officer named Jimmy Sage reportedly killed 34 inmates.
By 11:54 a.m., the courtyard, helipad, reception and armory had been reclaimed by the police.
At 5:40 p.m., the police went on the offensive again and by 9:40 p.m., they managed to take over the cafeteria. The remaining cafeteria inmates were pushed back behind the counter. The rest of the inmates fled to the back of the prison, into the cell rooms or onto the roof. Over 65 inmates died.

In a sudden turn of events, JuliusColeV2 used kerosene from the helicopter's fuel to start a massive fire. He did this because the wind was blowing towards the police base in the courtyard. The heavy and thick smoke killed all of the officers remained inside there, who were still sleeping because it was very early. The death count was around 110.
With barely any backup left, the SWAT team retreated back to the courtyard where they were fully struck from all angles by a full on inmate assault.
By 9:30 p.m., the entire SWAT team had been killed, and there were only 18 officers left holding off the remaining 408 inmates.
2nd of November 2017
Before the prisoners could fully defeat the police, a special ops team arrived on-site early in the morning. Armed with RPGs, they blew a hole into the cafeteria wall so they could directly access the stairwell, pushing the inmates back into the prison.
By the late evening, JuliusColeV2 announced a rationing of remaining food supplies to the prisoners. The majority of the food was in the cafeteria kitchen and the supply truck. The cafeteria was occupied by the special ops team and the supply truck was parked near the entrance, so the inmates began to plan an attack.
Their plan was simple:
Since there were fewer and weaker officers in the courtyard, a group of inmates would sneak through the helipad access tunnel to the reception area to access the courtyard. Once they defeated the officers, they would drive the supply truck through the hole straight into the cafeteria.
This would be simultaneous to a front assault from the rest of the inmates who would distract the special ops team from investigating the situation in the courtyard.
3rd of November 2017
The plan was underway.
JuliusColeV2 began firing out towards the cafeteria. The sound of hundreds of guns firing drowned out the noise of MisterObvious's squadron executing the remaining officers outside.
However, using an RPG, a special ops soldier fired at the supply truck. Still covered in kerosene from the 1st, MisterObvious and his crew exploded and the food was all destroyed. 18 inmates were killed. Demotivated, the prisoners fled all the way back. Now, the back courtyard and the top two floors were ran by the inmates while the rest of the prison was police territory.
At 8:39 p.m., the first of six military troops landed at the front of the prison. By now, there were journalists present at the site. The riots had begun to make national headlines.
4th of November 2017
By the morning, the special ops team had been killed entirely by the inmates. JuliusColeV2 and Fave broke into the wardens office at 10:34 a.m., and they took RoyStanford, the prison warden, hostage.
They let the officers down below know that RoyStanford was taken hostage. Additionally, 3 of the inmates in MisterObvious's squad had taken the body from the governor's car. As such, the inmates claimed they also had the governor held hostage, although he was already dead.
At 4:34 p.m., a group of inmates wielding RPGs fired rockets at vehicles. These explosions killed 25 civilians and 234 officers. The attack was so successful that by midnight, the basketball court, garage and the main building were all under inmate control.
5th of November 2017 - 6th of November 2017
The next two days were unlike any other, small squadrons of inmates would go out and kill police officers before they were eliminated by military soldiers. This went back and forth for two days until the total government forces death count was in the 600s, and the inmates had dropped to a measly 200 people.
7th of November 2017
An airstrike was called onto the main building. The strike killed about 50 inmates. In retaliation, the inmates used the last of their guns to kill a further 7 civilians as well as using the governor as a shield to kill another 27 soldiers.
JuliusColeV2 was now the only leader of the inmates left, as Fave had been beaten by fellow inmates and was later crushed during the airstrike.
JuliusColeV2 told the inmates to throw all their grenades from the roof towards the military outpost. To their surprise, the final battle of the riot was successful for the inmates.
8th of November 2017
A further 30 inmates were killed during the morning battle. However, Yuzuf decided to sacrifice himself by flying a military grade helicopter into the outpost. The strike killed a whopping 300 soldiers and officers.
By noon, the government realised that this battle was in vain. There was no more media presence since the site was too dangerous, so they wouldn't be embarrassed by this on a global scale.
With all this in mind, the government decided to cut their losses and retreated fully with what few soldiers were left. They also evacuated the town of Walworth and set out a state of emergency for the greater Bloxburg area.
The prisoners left RoyStanford to die in the armory, and the rest fled through a hole in the wall formed by the helicopter crash. JuliusColeV2 fled the scene. 3:15 p.m., the prison was abandoned apart from RoyStanford who was tied up in the armoury.
By the end of the G-Riot, 345 inmates had been killed, leaving a measly 90 prisoners who survived. The emergency lockdown was lifted a week after the riots ended.
Aftermath
Redwood Prison became abandoned after the Riot. The main criminal holding area of Walworth was changed to Redwood County Jail.
Redwood Prison was removed from the official government list of permissible detention centers, and the police force of Robloxia underwent massive budget increases and investments. Since the grand escape, only 14 of the surviving inmates have been arrested again.
Additionally, Nectar restarted his clan, the Dark Age Ninjas, not long after his escape.
Redwood Prison has become a testament of Robloxian culture, and some daredevils enjoy trespassing onto and exploring the complex.
Nowadays, the Redwood site is inhabited only ever temporarily by homeless people and nomadic people.
