- How Red talks.
Red is a major character in the Pokemon Brick Bronze franchise, and was the first ever protagonist in the franchise. He first appeared in Pulseman as a secondary character, but would later make his first official appearance as a protagonist in Brick Bronze: Red, Blue and Yellow (1996). He also appears in the Generation 3 remakes of the original games as a playable character.
His main female counterpart in the games is Leaf, as revealed in the remakes.
Fun facts:
- Red was entirely based on and inspired by the creator of the Brick Bronze series when he was young.
- There are different versions of Red, one of them being the Brick Bronze Adventures manga, one of the only versions where he actually talks.
- He would serve as a main inspiration of Ash Ketchup from the Brick Bronze Pokemon anime.
- Red is also one of the main playable characters in the 2018 Bloxtendo Swapp videogame, "Let's Go Pikachu!".
- Originally, when the games were being localized in Robloxia, Red's name was meant to be Ash Ketchup, however after the original Brick Bronze (season 1) dub by Ro-4Kids Entertainment aired, his name was changed to Red so children wouldn't be confused with the fact that were 2 characters named Ash Ketchup.
In other media:
Red appears in all Super Smash Blox. entries since Super Smash Blox. Brawl in 2006. (However according to Masahiro Sakurei in his BloxTube channel, Red had to be renamed to Brick Bronze Trainer just to troll fans.)
His manga counterpart..
In the manga, Red can speak for some reason even though it was established in the Generation 1 games that Red cannot speak. It is possible that the Robloxians who were in charge of the manga between 1997-2002 forgot that Red cannot speak back in those games. As a result, the manga has been described as edgy.
Brick Bronze: Origins
in Brick Bronze: Origins, he is the main character and is seen talking to the other characters during the entire series.
He was voiced by Junko Itou (in Neo-Japanese) and by Ramona Lynn Taylor in English.
