Ash Ketchup (also known as Satoshi (サトシ) or Satoshi Asakura (朝倉 サトシ, Asakura Satoshi) in Neo-Japan) is a fictional character in the Pokémon Brick Bronze franchise owned by Bloxtendo and Game Reak.
In English, he was previously voiced by Judith Amy Bell before being replaced by Emily Jones in 2006. In Neo-Japanese, he has been voiced by Roca Ramoato throughout his entire run in the official anime (However, he was voiced by Haruka Amami in the Indigo League OVA series).
Fun Facts:
Ash possesses a wide range of talents and capabilities. Despite his youth, Ash is extremely athletic and physically capable, so that comes first.
Judith Amy Bell expressed on Blox-Twitter that it has been an "absolute honor" to be the voice of Ash Ketchup for decades.
Ash Ketchup and Pikachu had been a part of the series for 25 long years, and it is difficult to even imagine the duo not being a part anymore. However, the series ended his part and was replaced by a new set of characters, Riko and Roy.
He was originally based off Red, a character who first appeared in "Brick Bronze: Red and Blue".
In Brick Bronze Pokemon XY and earlier, Ash had big eyes. Later, his eyes became smaller and appeared younger in Brick Bronze Pokemon: Sun and Moon, which led to some fans to criticize the new design.
In his original Neo-Japanese name, his Neo-Japanese last name “Asakura” has always been there.
