The First Furist Church of the Covenant is a Furist church located at 814 Church St. in Viansilva, Rolaska. It is the largest Christian church by membership in the Furry City Metropolitan Area.
History
On December 11th, 2030, Farin Krähe, an Avian who had experience preaching Christianity in college, had contractors start construction on the church. He requested the church be built with a more "classic" style of architecture. On February 6th, 2031, construction completed. Residents stated it was a "nice addition to the small town."
Farin Krähe was anointed Priest of the Church immediately after construction and gained the honorific title of "Father".
The first service began on February 8th, 2031, where Farin preached the book of Exodus. His service was recognized by the few churchgoers, who later described his service as "traditional but contemporary." Through apologetics, good works, and recommendation from previous churchgoers, the church gained many members. It now sits at 68 baptized members.
On March 8th, 2031, Farin Krähe held a fundraiser to help those migrating to Viansilva after The Furry War. They eventually reached the goal of ⏣5,000 and donated all of it to migrants and families.
On July 6th, 2031, an incident occurred where a rogue Church of the Broken God cultist interrupted service to forcefully preach for his god, Mekhane, and to scold Christians of their beliefs. There was a law stating that only furries could live in the town. However, regional police said that due to the heavy amount of mechanical parts attached to his body, the police believed the cultist to be a Protogen. Nonetheless, police were notified by a churchgoer, and he was taken away and given a felony disturbing the peace charge and was swiftly banned from the town. No physical violence occurred, and the "protogen" was revealed to be a normal Robloxian.
