Abydos Private Security Solutions, Abydos Industries or better known as Abydos, is a South Neo-Korbloxian multinational company and private military contractor, that was formed in 1959, after splitting off from the national army, becoming a seperate branch of the military until merging with a technology company in 1963. Like all South Neo-Korbloxian based companies, after the nation was heavily industrialised in the 1960's, Abydos rose through the ranks as one of the most successful PMC's in the country. Their manner of military strategies and gear is similar to that of Robloxian PMC Bloxwater.

History

Formed in 1959, as a seperate militia of the army, the soldiers were hired by a technology company in 1963 to become the security force for protecting their assets, however In the 1970's, Abydos faced its own struggles in sustaining its financial stability. as a flurry of megacorporations came to power across the country. With limited funds and resources, the group found itself in a precarious position. Recognising the need for a transformation, Abydos seized an opportunity for revitalisation through external funding provided by Monika Corporation. Under this new financial backing, Abydos Industries embarked on a remarkable journey of adaptation and reinvention. It made a strategic shift in its operations, transitioning from being the security guards of a technology company to a fully independent private security entity. By leveraging their expertise and knowledge in the realm of security, Abydos embraced a more profitable and financially secure model.

The transformation allowed Abydos to offer a diverse range of specialised security services, catering to the needs of various clients. Their proficiency in this domain, coupled with Monika's support, positioned Abydos as a formidable player in the private security sector. Through their adeptness in navigating the evolving landscape of security challenges, Abydos thrived as a profitable enterprise. This successful transition not only ensured the sustainability of their unchecked military operations that carried out eliminations on avatar styles that South Neo-Korbloxia outlawed, such as Fembloxians and Ro-gangsters, but also established them as a trusted provider of comprehensive security solutions. Their reputation grew, attracting clients from different industries and sectors who sought the expertise of Abydos to safeguard their interests and assets, just like how they did in the 1960's, currently, Monika Corporation is one of their biggest clients for private security, as well as Abydos distributing their weapons to Monika.

In certain levels, the logo is strung about various different buildings, often with the words "Protected by Abydos".

Security And Military

Regular Abydos Operatives often safeguard buildings, and despite their weaponry, they are not part of the PMC groups, there are 3 ranks, which are shared between Security and PMC operatives

• Abydos Guard - A traditional security guard. Often armed with a P9-2 pistol or a telescopic baton.
• Abydos Protector - Same as a Guard, but with a Level 2 ballistic vest, and usually carries a submachine gun, such as the SIG Sauer MPX.
• Abydos Elite - More trained and armored guards, using up to Level 3 armor. These guards carry assault rifles, in this case, the SIG Sauer MCX, or Beretta 1301 Tactical shotgun.

Trivia

• Abydos is based on the high school of the same name from "Blue Archive"
• Despite being GFA-aligned on the neutral side, Abydos still gets funds and support from Monika, who is a pro-anti-furry company.
  • They are not deemed enemies for GFA as the agency's policy and guidelines stated that; if they were to be against their mission statement, they would be deemed as an enemy. As such, even if funded by an Anti-Furry company, they shoudn't be deemed as enemies unless acted against them.
• The pyramid-like logo, along with the name is a reference to the ancient Egyptian temple, known as the Temple of Seti the First.
• Abydos PMC's use gear from and made by Monika, hence why they look very similar to Monika Guardsmen
• The Shemata Railgun is similar in design to Nazi Romarkia's Gustav gun, but the company is not affiliated with Neo-Nazism
