Map of Duckhaven
Duckhaven is a town located in Kionne Republic, Robloxia. It is county seat of Duck County. The town is widely known throughout Kionne Republic as a result of the long-standing production of rubber ducks, which has been going on there since the 1850s. It is located near the ski resort of the same name, which operates from November to April. The town is located on Cape Onion, a cape on Onion Lake, also known as Duck Pond. Interblox 67 and Kionne State Route 7 run through the town.
History
Founding of the town
The town was founded in the late Middle Ages and became independent as the Principality of Cape Onion. According to legend, Motho Naymay (Termen XV's nephew), a native of Brookhaven, came to Onion Lake and encountered the Silver Duck (it wasn't gold due to a copyright issue). The Duck complained to him about the Korbloxians destroying the local ecosystem. According to legend, Motho Naymay drove them out using a sword, shield, rope, and shoe polish. In gratitude, the Silver Duck allowed him to establish a small fortress on the cape. The legend ends with the Silver Duck sailing away to the other end of the rainbow.
Cape Onion fortress participated in Termen XVII's armed expedition against Jimmu in 1681. The fortress' troops were commanded by Motho's son.
Modern history
In 2001, a flood resulted in 49 deaths and 210 injuries. Water flooded into a rubber duck factory, causing all the ducks inside to be swept away by the current. Later, Survivors described seeing piles of rubber ducks floating in the water rising towards them. This flood went down in history as The Duck Flood.
In 2022, Interblox 67 opened, making it easier to travel from Duckhaven to Brookhaven Side Town and Madison Megalopolis.
Wairangi's Exile
On October 27, 2025, the present-day mayor of Duckhaven, Wairangi Stuedajanos was arrested from Robloxia and sent to federal prison due to breaking the fourth wall and copyright laws by giving users a transcript to a movie on Earth (the Minecraft Movie) in two languages: English and Morse Code. This was met with praise, with some calling the mayor "silly" or "goofy ahh mayor", arguing the mayor was unfit for the position from the start. The president officially declared that Wairangi would be released 5 years and 2 days and would be fined R$100,000,000. As a result, the citizens have decided to reform the Gregorian calendar to protest this decision, where the year following 2025 will be 2031, with the year numbers 2026-2030 skipped entirely, which, they believe, would allow the former mayor to be released and take up his position again. A town-wide proposition is currently canvassing a 30% support[1]. Currently, due to a lack of vice mayorship or any form of mayoral succession, as well as county executive-ship, the city has been subject to the constitution of Kionne Republic.
On October 30, 60% of the town's population voted to choose new acting mayor. However, a lot of people who voted for new acting mayor voted for Teddy Møller, a fictional character from Teddy's Show TV series. On the same day, creators of the cartoon released an episode set in Duckhaven.
Acting Mayor’s Death
On December 6th, 2025, Teddy Moller passed away due to a heart attack.
