a Exile notification

a Exile notification

An exile or a Ban refers to the suspension of visiting or citizenship privileges within Robloxia that can occur when a visitor or citizen violates the laws and regulations. Robloxians who breach the rules are usually issued warnings for first-time offences, but the number of warnings allowed before facing exile can vary. Serious violations such as creating phishing websites, scamming, sharing adult content, engaging in terrorizing behaviour, committing area theft, or violating federal laws can result in deportation without prior notice or warnings.

The President of Robloxia holds the authority to exile individuals based on international law. Initially, moderation actions were taken only against citizens who violated federal regulations before March 23, 2004. However, following a travel ban imposed by Ro-Emirates on Robloxia, the country now enforces laws from other nations. In light of this, Robloxians can request the deletion of their personal information, and federal actions may be taken against those who do not comply with Eurobloxian Union privacy laws.

Deportation from a specific area is also a possibility for a Robloxian, which is not sanctioned by the President, but rather by the local government of the region.

In addition, there have been changes regarding access to information about deported citizens. After a government incident on January 15, 2014, citizens were granted the ability to view information about deported individuals. While the government initially described this as a feature, it is speculated that the incident may have been covered up to avoid further misinformation about the change.

Deportation Levels

Deportations can be severe or minor depending on the offense. Citizens can be deported for different lengths of time.

Citizens who violate the law will be given one of these deportations. These can range from in-area deportations to permanent deportations.

Before the 14-day deportation was removed, when someone receives a permanent deportation, they were told that they were deported for 14 days.

Current deportations

  • In-area deportation: A Robloxian is deported from an area. As stated above, those deportations are not endorsed by the President, but rather endorsed by the area's government.
  • Warning: A Robloxian can remove the deported status if they agree to the law. This level is sometimes used to provide citizens with feedback on their areas.
  • 1-day deportation: A Robloxian can remove the deported status if they wait a day, then agree to the law.
  • 3-day deportation: A Robloxian can remove the deported status if they wait three days, then agree to the law.
  • 1-week deportation: A Robloxian can remove the deported status if they wait a week, then agree to the law.
  • Citizen deletion/termination: A Robloxian cannot remove the deported status.
  • Poison deportation (1 year/Permanent): A Robloxian can remove the deported status if they wait one year, and then agree to the law. However, A Robloxian cannot remove the deported status if the poison deportation is permanent. A Robloxian cannot create any aliases.
  • IP deportation (7 days): Everyone on the same alias is deported for 1 week.

Mayor Forum deportations

  • Mayor Forum feedback message
  • Mayor Forum strike
  • Mayor Forum suspension
  • Mayor Forum "Enter Error" ban

Former deportations

  • Forum purge: A citizen's forum transcripts would be replaced by [Content Deleted].
  • Reminder: See Warning.
  • 2-week deportation: A Robloxian can remove the deported status if they wait two weeks, then agree to the law.

Reasons:

These reasons may appear in the content section of the deportation notice. They will not appear in every message.

If an image is moderated, the asset name will appear with the reason Inappropriate, no matter what offense it features. Sometimes it will say Adult Content.

Before the August 2020 update to the deportation notice, whenever an image or in-game message was marked as Adult Content, it would be replaced with a red danger sign with the writing "CONTENT BLOCKED" underneath it.

In December 2021, the President has added more reasons to the current government system.

Government member notes

Depending on what violation the citizen has done, these government member notes, as reported by citizens, are given to each warning, deportation, or citizen deletion (a comprehensive list of moderator notes can be found on a Government Support page). No matter what primary language the Robloxian speaks, government member notes and reasons may appear in Bloxish in rare cases. The current notes are as follows, followed by an explanation on what the note means. (Just by reading this, one can learn about the laws of Robloxia post-2004)

    • Do not create areas or shirts or discuss about tragic events. Tragic events are defined in the Robloxian constitution as any large-scale natural disaster or attack occurring on Earth. • Clothing which includes underwear and diapers, and/or simulate skin without clothing will result in this message.
  • "Clothing featuring red armbands are not permitted on Robloxia."
    • This is one of the weird and most controversial laws in Robloxia since it was amended on March 23, 2004. It has even led to a lawsuit against the government, which was successful in which Robloxia changed their flag instead of paying a hefty compensation fee. Robloxia says they amended this law to prevent it their country to alluding to 1914-1918 and 1939-1944 on Earth, and some of the red armbands contain swastikas. This law was controversial. Nazism believers were unable to show they supported their own race, and Buddhists in Robloxia were not allowed to wear clothing having one symbol of the Buddha. Other Robloxians stated this law was controversial because it would mean they would not be able to wear the Robloxian flag (the Robloxian flag back then looked awfully like a swastika) despite their appeals that wearing it would constitute patriotism and/or it would violate the First Amendment (freedoms of speech, religion, and press). Eventually, it was pointed out that the Robloxian flag itself looked like a swastika, and to resolve this dramatically ironic incident, Robloxia updated their flag. Many Robloxians took the amendment of this law as a sign that Robloxia could be Jewish or otherwise Anti-Nazi in general.
  • "Adult content is not tolerated on Robloxia!"

  • "Adult content is not tolerated on Robloxia."
    • Explicit adult content is not allowed on Robloxia.

Before 2014, a deportation notice did not require a Government Member Note. It would instead display only the reason box if there was one.

In-area deportations

An in-area deportation, not given by the Robloxian government, but rather given by an area, only restricts the citizen's access to a specific area. If a Robloxian is banned from an area, they are usually restricted from access on the area. Robloxian with in-area deportations still have access to the country. This deportation is usually ignored by the Robloxian government.

However, some areas may block access to specific Robloxians and theoretically deport them; this usually occurs in corporation-run areas with restrictions imposed on other corporations or Robloxians. A Robloxian who is blocked from an area. This can also happen to any Robloxian if a city is quarantined by a government member of the area.

It is to be noted by officials that In-area deportations may be biased.

Terrorist attacks:

Terrorizing is a major violation of the Robloxian Law and can result in light or harsh government action depending on the severity of the terrorist attac. For this reason, terrorists commonly do their business terrorizing on alternate aliases (however this can backfire if they cannot create any more alternate aliases, in which case they may also choose to get a citizenship in another country and create alternate aliases here). Due to this evasion method, it is very difficult to capture a terrorist.

However, there are other techniques that government members can use to identify terrorists.

Issues:

Bloxy Beats refund incident

On July 4, 2018, thousands of Robloxians were deported with the government member note saying that they received a double refund for uploading audio to Bloxy Beats that was rejected after its first review, which according to the government, violates the Robloxian law. Robloxia announced their reinstatement of affected citizens. A similar incident later occurred in 2020.

Botting incident

On October 17, 2018, thousands of Robloxians were deported for violating the Robloxian law. This deportation wave primarily targeted bots due to scams that were being perpetrated by them, although some innocent Robloxians which included known mayors and traders were affected as well. All deportations from the incident were given out at 4:51:49 PM.

Terrorism deportation wave

On April 24, 2020, and December 4, 2020, many Robloxians received deportations of varying time amounts for "terrorizing", as a way to target the working practice of terrorizing using any form of terrorist attack, while the December deportation wave specifically targeted one form of terrorist attack. Whether or not a majority of the Robloxians were innocent is debated. Some of the targeted Robloxians were banned for using an allowed form of terrorist attack, according to Robloxian governmental consensus.

False deportation requests

In January 2021, Robloxians were intentionally abusing the government support form to falsely claim they were the parent of a Robloxian and request deportation of the Robloxian. Lisa Gaming Gang's leader was deported using this method.

Refund Method deportation wave

In 2021, Robloxians found a way to get Robux for free. They would currency exchange for the ROBUX, then currency exchange it back. They would get a lot of ROBUX by just refunding. The government took attention of this and patched the currency exchange glitch, while deporting the Robloxians who used the currency exchange glitch. Some Robloxians were not deported, but all their ROBUX acquired from the currency exchange glitch was later reclaimed by a debt collection agency.

The government notice read: "You have been moderated because one or more of the charges on your account were reported as unauthorized or disputed by the billing account holder."

Appeals

The deportation appeals were implemented in 2012. Appeals were to be sent to a certain house in Brookhaven known as the Appeals House, and in 2020, the Appeals House was closed, encouraging Robloxians to use the Government Support form in the government support website instead. However, appeals can also be sent to the Government Support House.

Robloxians are encouraged to appeal a government action through the Government Support form. If the government action is deemed incorrect, it can be lifted. Appeal responses may take a while, from 12 hours when there's no traffic up to 7 days when the traffic is piled up, and even more.

Sometimes Robloxia accepts appeals from terminated Robloxians after the allowed time to make an appeal.

Terminated Robloxians with an active stimulus membership receive an additional notification. This notification identifies when the player's stimulus membership will expire or renew and how to cancel their stimulus membership if desired.

Criticism:

A popular rumor spread throughout 2011–2013 claimed that a government member named MSE the Sixth was responsible for deporting Robloxians with no reason.

Robloxia has been heavily criticized for their poor law enforcing on citizens in the past couple of years. Many Robloxians claim to have received a false deportation, and appeal only to receive a reply saying that the government cannot help.

A notable case of a false deportation was when a citizen named Ambusher Eleven was deported in February 2020. Ambusher Eleven said about the deportation on an unofficial forum. In the post (which was later removed by the forum moderators due to a rule violation), Ambusher claimed to have been targeted by a Robloxian who requested a government support ticket and wrote on the ticket swear words in all caps, requesting Ambusher to be deported. The ticket was approved and as a result, Ambusher was deported. All of Ambusher's appeals were denied, stating that Ambusher was an alias. In the replies of Ambusher's forum post, many Robloxians were disappointed that the government had accepted the request. To this day, Ambusher is still deported.

As there are many wealthy Robloxians on Robloxia, their identities (and presumably, valuable items) can be targets for Robloxians to steal. On January 26, 2021, a wealthy Robloxian Bloxtuber's identity was stolen, as well as valuable limited items that he had on his home. He then was falsely deported. The government later lifted the deportation status on him.

In August 2025, Schlepington, a child predator hunter in Robloxia, was deported from his home country due to a "new ratified law against vigilantism". Robloxia was charged by international agencies for corruption. The press demanded the Robloxian government explain why the deportation occurred, when the Department Director of RICE and David Baszucki (the executive who ordered the deportation) deny any wrongdoing. However, they still refuse to reverse the deportation order to avoid backlash. As a result, this led to the general public to believe that the Robloxian government is corrupt and biased. They would see even more corruption when the Robloxian government would authorize the deportations of any robloxian who protested against the Age Checks for Communication Executive Order, but the authorization was difficult to carry out, and many protesters who protested against the executive order still remain in Robloxia.

Fun Facts:

According to the government, the first problematic citizen that the government found was on October 17, 2006. It is unknown who the problematic citizen is.

In September 2020, the deportation notice was redesigned. Attempts to access the bank account of a deported Robloxian will make it seem they have "?" ROBUX left.

Occasionally, one might have a mirage of a deportation notice while visiting Robloxia.

Unlike the United States government, it is possible to have double jeopardy in Robloxia, i.e. deported while on deportation. This usually leads to strange deportation times. One Robloxian got deported for 9.5 days because of this.

Citizens used to be able to view their Deportation History. Previously, parents can only view deportation history. In 2016, the feature to view their deportation history was removed from the government.

In 2014, some deportation notices were sent along with a box one can check to show that they agree to the law of Robloxia. It was later found out that it was a printing error and was remedied quickly.
