Dead Rails is a 2025 Robloxian supernatural horror western film directed by Ava DuVernay and written by Max Landry. Dead Rails. The film stars Luna Hives, Anya Taylor-Joy,Orson Welles , and Bill Skarsgård. Set in an alternate 1899 Robloxia ravaged by a zombie plague, the film follows a group of survivors aboard a steam-powered train traveling toward the Bloxican border in hopes of finding a cure for the undead infection. It was released in the United States on October 10, 2025, by 20th Century Studios and Seventy Studios . It received critical acclaim for its atmosphere, performances, and blend of genres.
Plot
The World has collapsed under the spread of a Zombie infection that started with Nikola Telsablox's intention to make a bioweapon known as Argent 15 for the Robloxian Army. A train travels across the frontier toward Bloxico, where there is a cure for the undead curse.
Onboard the Train is a group of Survivors including a Conductor, Armored man, a Miner, a Doctor, a Survivalist, a Packmaster with wolves, a Hunter, a Cowboy, a Musican and a Priest
As The Survivors travel across towns, castles, and forts filled with zombies, the survivors are forced to fend off attacks from zombies, werewolves, and vampires. The train itself becomes both sanctuary and battleground. With each passing day, the threats grow more powerful. a Nikola Telsablox turned into a monster Tries to kill the group just as they near a Outlaw fort, the final checkpoint before the Bloxican border.
