The Citizen Militia Act is a Robloxian congressional bill passed by both houses of the Robloxia Congress and signed by President John Puma on June 6, 2026. The act introduced the already existing Robloxian Citizen Militia as a government-affiliated organization, gave its members the right to organize neighborhood patrols, gave them the right to independently control or defend an area if the government or its forces cannot do so provided that it is done in accordance with the law, and distinguished it from military forces. The vote was very difficult to align with party lines. The Corporatist Party and Robloxian Conservative Party opposed the bill entirely, arguing that the militia attempted to overthrow the Robloxian government. Meanwhile, the Anti Corporatist Party, Communist Party of Robloxia, Lime Party, New Voldex Party, and Progressive Party argued that citizens should be able to defend themselves against common dangers. However, the Robloxian Reform Party was divided on this issue.
