Bhlode Island, also known as the Ocean State, is the smallest mainland Robloxia state by area right after Keysota.
History
Territory of Bhlode Island was colonised by Dush Empire and sold to Robloxia in 1435. It became part of Robloxonnecticut.
Ocean State became state of Robloxia on May 4, 1553 in accordance with the order of Robloxian 9th President, Ulysses S. Bhlode. People wanted to rename it to Bhlode Island after president's death, but new Anti-Federalist government refused. Ultimately, the name changed in 1653 (on the 100th anniversary of the statehood), after Liberal candidate Eril Cassel III won the election.
"Republic of Bhlode Island"
In 1686, Levi Harmon from Vermilionist Party seized control over the Ro-Narragansett town and Studio Island. He declared himself the president of Bhlode Island, taking over Queenville in next two weeks. Robloxian troops didn't make any bigger attempt to fight back because President Taylor Paine was too busy fighting Korbloxians. After few years, Harmon and his two sons started producing their own Tix currency, trying to stay in power.
A year after Harmon's death, in 1692, Robloxian forces under the command of Vice President Josh Trublox captured Queenville, driving the Vermillionists out of Ro-Narragansett. In 1693, Walter Harmon (Levi's younger son) was forced to sign a peace treaty in Ro-Narragansett and later imprisoned. Soon, another 14 members of the political party were arrested. This led to a decline in the activity of the Vermilionist Party. Fate of Levi Harmon's elder son is unclear, but he probably became governor of Albert County, Eastern Robloxia.
Civil War
During the Robloxian Civil War, Bhlode Island was the first Union state to send troops in response to President Vonn's request for help from the states.
Fun Facts:
- The first ever outdoor polo match in 1876 and the first open golf tournament in Robloxia were both played in Bhlode Island.
- Bhlode Island was home to the first Robloxia Lawn Tennis Championship in 1899.
- Bhlode Island's state bird is Bhlode Island Red.
- Bhlode Island is home to Roblox Point Theme Park.
