Alexander Brookhaven was a Robloxian and Oceanian political and polar explorer. He was a regent in 1981 and then became the King of Oceania until 1983. He was the first king of independent Oceania since Tupua IV's reign.
Life
He was born on July 6, 1937, the second son of Mario Brookhaven Jr. and his wife Rose. Alexander studied at the University of Robloxia, Livetopia.
Alexander Brookhaven participated in the Vietblox War. He was sent to South Vietblox in 1958. He returned in 1965. In 1971, he became interested in politics and joined the Libertarian Party, founded that same year.
Ambassador in Ro Fiji and Ro Tuvalu
In 1975, he became the ambassador of Robloxia in Ro Fiji. He was dismissed from office the following year.
In 1978, after Ro Tuvalu declared its independence, Alexander was offered the position of Robloxia's ambassador in that country. After initial opposition, the politician accepted the proposal.
He left Ro Tuvalu in 1980, retiring from office.
Oceania
After returning from Ro Tuvalu, Robloxia President Pal Hair sent him to Oceania as his representative. When Oceania was granted independence, Alexander Brookhaven remained there as a temporary ambassador.
On November 8, 1981, four days after Oceania's independence, Alexander became a regent as a representative of Robloxia.
King of Six Islands
On Christmas Day 1981, his candidacy was put forward for the election as King of Oceania. He won the majority of votes and began serving in office with his coronation on December 30.
His short reign was turbulent due to his ignorance of the local realities and his pro-Robloxian policy.
Noah Smith's Rebellion
In January 1983, General Noah Smith terminated his allegiance to the ruler. Soon later, other commanders joined his side. The rebels took Cactus Island and captured Fort Kalakaua.
On February 22, the last attempt to stop the rebels took place. There was a battle at Té de Menta, which was ultimately lost by the royalists.
After the battle, the king from Niue City evacuated to Bloxburg by plane. Officially on March 10, he abdicated from abroad.
Rolaska
After his abdication, he moved to Rolaska, where he spent the rest of his life training sled dogs. Alexander Brookhaven headed two expeditions to explore the northern part of Rolaska. He died of pancreatic cancer in January 2008.
Mount Alexander and the town nearby were named after him.
He left his entire estate in his will to his nephew, Mario Brookhaven III, who moved to Rolaska two years after Alexander's death.
