The 80th Annual Primetime Bloxy Awards honored the best primetime television programming on Robloxia from June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2014, The ceremony was held on August 30, 2014 at the Baszucki Theater in Downtown Bloxburg City , Bloxburg , and was broadcast on Robloxia on ROX. The presenter of the awards was Coeptus.
There was also a video contest held by the federal government. In it, one could make Roblox films and send it to the president. The best film creators won BLOXY prizes. There were four movie categories that one could apply with:
Long-form Machinima
Robloxians can tell a story. It might be about anything you can imagine as long as it is filmed in Robloxia. Films must be 2-5 minutes long to be considered eligible for this award.
Short-form Machinima
Robloxians can make a movie trailer of Robloxia, or tell a story. It must be filmed in Robloxia. Films must be 45-90 seconds long to be considered to be considered eligible for this award.
Music video
Robloxians can create a music video for a song. The music video must be filmed in Robloxia. Robloxians can opt to write their own original music about anything or Robloxia, or opt to make a music video for an existing song. Music videos must be 1-4 minutes long to be considered eligible for this award.
MLG Robloxia
Robloxians must record themselves in Robloxia, then edit them together with exciting music and whatever other effects they like. Films must be 30-60 seconds long to be considered to be considered eligible for this award.
