2026 Brookhaven Town Council Elections

The Brookhaven Town Council Elections were held in the town of Brookhaven, in Robloxia. The elections took place from January 2nd to 4th, 2026, and resulted in the election of Robloxian Progressive Party with 17 seats out of 30 on the Town Council. For the first time in the town council's recorded history, none of the seats in the Town Council aligned with the political party of the incumbent mayor, which was New Voldex Party as of the last night of the elections, and this was possibly the first election in which it took place on a year not evenly divisible by four. This has led Voldex Bloke Jr. to challenge himself to accept more than one political party's bills submitted to him, for if he did not, he would be seen effectively as a disguised political party mayoral candidate.

All councilpersons would begin their terms on January 6, 2026 and are projected to end on January 6, 2032 after the 2032 Brookhaven Town Council Election.

Previously

Normally, a town council election would be held on December 15 to 19 every year divisible by 4 in Brookhaven.

In particular, the 2024 elections were held from December 15 to 19, 2024. The Corporatist Party won the elections, occupying most of the town council seats.

On January 6, 2025, the new town council was inaugurated. On February 21, 2025, a motion of no confidence by the Independents colluding with the New Voldex Party removed all the Corporatist Party seats from office and replaced the seats with a mixed batch of Independent and New Voldex seats. However, on March 9, 2025, the Brookhaven City Hall's courthouse ruled that the Corporatist Party seats were elected democratically, and thus the Corporatist Party seats must remain, thus all the seats were replaced back to Corporatist. In October 2025, the Corporatist Party was found guilty of a crime, and all members were fined a total of 750,000 Robux and sent to jail sentences totaling 105 years for all the criminals.

On October 20, 2025 until December 7, 2025, the Brookhaven City Hall courthouse overruled its previous ruling after realizing that the seats were vacant, and all of the Independent and New Voldex seats that were illegally granted on February 21, 2025 were granted legally as interim seats.

Due to pressure from the opposition, including the Robloxian Progressive Party, protests called elections to replace the entire council; the request was granted in an announcement on December 30, 2025. As a result, the 2028 Brookhaven Town Council Elections were proposed to be moved to January 2-4, 2026.

Elections

December 30, 2025-January 2, 2026

Throughout the campaign trail, various campaigns emerged, such as the Progressive Party campaign, the Reform Party campaign, the Communist Party campaign, and the Corporatist Party campaign. Each campaign featured advertisements from one of four robloxians:

• Mark Patherson (Progressive Party),
• Pamela Candel (Reform Party)
• Sabri Esbizo (Communist Party)
• Diana Boris (Corporatist)

Fabio Lunetti was planned to appear on a campaign advertisement for the Communist Party, but it was scrapped for unknown reasons. Rumors emerged from a rumor mill that because the Communist Party has a grudge against Ro-Italians, he was not able to broadcast a campaign advertisement, but were speedily debunked by independent fact checking agencies as this would effectively be seen as discrimination on the basis of nationality and that the Communist Party would never discriminate on the basis of nationality as their main goal is to outlaw discrimination in all forms.

January 2-January 4, 2026

The voting took place on January 2, 2026, and campaign advertisements stopped airing. Voting booths were installed and available at Brookhaven High School. There was a planned installation to occur in Brookhaven Elementary School, but due to Brookhaven not having an elementary school, Johnson was informed and he decided to have a second voting booth somewhere else. For those distant from the Brookhaven High School, electronic mail-in or online voting options were offered.

All voting options closed at midnight of January 5, 2026. On that day, the results were announced.
