The Electoral Posters
On September 13, 2023, Luan-Hinchong-Min launched the first electoral poster. His rival, Caio Fernandes, did the same on September 21, 2023, thus already giving a preview of what they wanted to bring to the country. They chose colors that matched the country and the moment in which the nation was located. In the September survey, 56% of prospective voters would vote for Caio Fernandes, 42% would vote for Luan-Hinchong-Min, and 2% would vote for a third party. For this reason, Luan started holding rallies 10 days before Caio.
The Rallies
Due to being at a disadvantage compared to his opponent, Luan-Hinchong-Min began holding rallies across the country, hoping to win more votes and the trust of citizens, focusing mainly on states favorable to Caio Fernandes and on states where he did not have a big advantage. The Liverton and Ribo de Campo rallies were largely successful.
Caio only started his rallies on October 7th. The two candidates and their vice-presidents held several rallies until their first public debate. A Luan-Hinchong-Min rally on October 9th was notable in. which a supporter of Caio threw a glass bottle at Louis Fortez, sending Louis Fortez to surgery. Three days later, hours before the debate, Louis Fortez published a message on social media while still hospitalized:
Hello all the supporters of Luan and I, I inform you that the surgery was a success! I'm in a hospital in Liverton, and this is what I say: I hope that violence will not be present in today's debate at 6:00 pm, I will not be present in person, but I will try to support my president, we are strong and united Evolutionists! The First Debate
The first election debate was held on October 12, 2023, at 6:00 pm in Baoji City, the capital. The two candidates spoke only with the presence of celebrities and governors. The debate was publicly broadcasted nationwide in South Baoji. This would be the only official debate between them. During the debate, they would address 16 issues in South Baoji. The debate ended at 11:24 pm.
1. Clean Energy
Interviewer: Clean energy is increasingly encouraged around the world, what is your opinion on encouraging it in the country?
Caio Fernandes: I think we shouldn't encourage clean energy for now, because the country's economy is damaged, maybe in 10 years...
Luan-Hinchong-Min: I think clean energy should be a priority given the current state of Roblox, and I think encouraging it would be a great way to avoid an increasingly worse climate future.
2. Imminent economic crisis
Interviewer: The country has an unstable economy and an imminent major economic crisis, which could lead around 50% of the inhabitants to extreme poverty, what do you suggest to combat the crisis?
Caio Fernandes: I believe the only way to quickly reverse this crisis is by implementing bold and high-impact measures. The first action will be to inject resources into both the public and private sectors, focusing on creating massive job opportunities through large-scale infrastructure projects such as building highways, bridges, schools, and hospitals. I will also cut taxes for productive sectors and ensure a large expansion of credit for businesses willing to invest and create jobs rapidly. The goal is to stabilize the economy in the shortest time possible, even if this brings risks of increased public debt. We don’t have time to waste.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: South Baoji's economic situation is serious and, as painful as it is, we will need profound reforms to ensure a prosperous future. In the short term, this may result in an increase in population suffering, but these changes are essential to stabilize the economy. Our priority will be to cut government waste, reduce bureaucracy, and focus on investments in infrastructure that create jobs and attract companies to the country. Stabilizing the currency and promoting fiscal balance through tax adjustments and strategic cuts will help control inflation and, over time, create the conditions for a robust and sustainable recovery.
3. Attacks in Baoji City on May 25
Interviewer: On May 25, several humanoid-shaped creatures attacked the Por Do Sol Building, leaving 24 injured and 16 dead. Shortly after the attack, the survivors struggled to evacuate, and the building collapsed. It is not known what that was, but how Would you prevent another attack?
Caio Fernandes: We cannot wait to understand the nature of the threat while it continues. My response will be swift and aggressive: I will immediately reinforce security in the highest-risk areas with a task force of military and police to identify and neutralize potential threats. I will allocate intelligence and research resources to investigate these creatures, without hesitation involving international experts. If necessary, I will implement rigorous security measures in all buildings and strategic areas until we are sure the threat has been neutralized.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: The safety of our citizens will be a top priority. We need rigorous scientific investigation to understand the nature of this attack. Simultaneously, we will make massive investments in national security, with new protocols and equipment to face unknown threats. Collaboration with security and science experts will be essential. We will also strengthen the intelligence system to detect signs of any possible new threats. South Baoji needs to be prepared for the unexpected.
4. Unemployed/Homeless People
Interviewer: It is estimated that 7% of the country's population is unemployed and/or homeless, and this tends to increase, what would you do to try to reduce this number?
Caio Fernandes: In a crisis like the one we are facing, we need an immediate and strategic response. The first measure will be the creation of a national jobs program, with immediate hiring of workers for infrastructure, agriculture, and public service sectors. I will pressure the private sector to open vacancies by offering immediate tax incentives. Regarding unemployment and homelessness, I will implement an emergency housing program, rapidly constructing affordable homes for those in need. The goal is to reduce unemployment and provide housing as quickly as possible.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: Job creation will be a priority for my government. In the short term, we will launch programs to build affordable housing and public works that generate direct jobs. At the same time, we will encourage the population's professional training and qualifications so that, when the economy recovers, people are prepared for new sectors. For the most vulnerable, income transfer programs and support for small entrepreneurs will also be implemented, with the aim of reducing extreme poverty and promoting entrepreneurship.
5. Tsunami in Fore City
Interviewer: On January 23 of this year, a 33-meter tsunami hit the community of Fore City, leaving 2,199 injured, 736 dead and almost 1,000 missing. What have you will try to do so that in future disasters, the numbers are low?
Caio Fernandes: To mitigate the devastation of natural disasters, I will take an aggressive and immediate stance. We will build tsunami barriers and strengthen evacuation infrastructure right away. I will also invest in disaster prediction and monitoring technology to ensure rapid alerts for affected communities. The entire population will undergo mandatory evacuation and first aid training to ensure any emergency is faced in a coordinated and effective manner.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: We must invest in forecasting and early warning technologies for natural disasters, such as tsunamis, to save lives. Additionally, we will strengthen infrastructure in coastal regions to make them more resilient to natural disasters. Educating the population on how to act in emergency situations will also be essential, as will the creation of more efficient shelters and evacuation systems. Our goal will be to minimize damage and ensure that in future disasters we can save as many lives as possible.
6. SRDN (Natural Disaster Rescue System)
Interviewer: Support for the SRDN is currently seen as crucial due to the state of the world's climate, but current president Joseph Lavert says this is bullshit, what is your opinion on the SRDN?
Caio Fernandes: The SRDN is absolutely crucial to ensure the protection of our population. We cannot wait to act when a disaster strikes. As president, I will make SRDN an absolute priority, increasing its resources so we can guarantee a quick and effective response to any emergency. The climate is changing rapidly, and we must act decisively to minimize the damage.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: SRDN is a crucial part of our preparation for the future. Climate change and the increasing frequency of natural disasters require an agile and effective response system. We cannot afford to ignore this type of structure. In my government, we will strengthen and expand the SRDN, with more resources, cutting-edge technology and training for our rescues. Prevention and rapid response are essential.
7. Threatened Fishing Market
Interviewer: The Roblox Fish Market, an economic source for the country is in rapid decline, harming fishermen, what would you do to get the market back to its stable level?
Caio Fernandes: The crisis in the fish market needs an immediate and strategic solution. I will subsidize the fishermen and stimulate the sector with tax incentives so they can restructure their operations and boost production. I will also invest in sustainable fishing technologies and expand infrastructure so the fish market can recover rapidly without harm to workers in the sector.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: The South Baoji Fishing Market plays a historic role in our economy, and we cannot allow it to disappear. We will invest in technology to improve fishing production, modernizing the fleet and fishing techniques. We will also seek international partnerships to expand the market and guarantee more competitive prices. Reducing fees and taxes for fishermen will be an immediate measure to ensure they remain in business as we work to stabilize the sector.
8. Tovokian-Keviabloxia War
Interviewer: What is your opinion on the Tovokian War against Keviabloxia? Who do you support and who would you help?
Caio Fernandes: War is never the answer, but if there is an opportunity to maintain regional stability and ensure our country is not directly involved, we will support diplomacy and peace. However, if our interests are directly affected, I will take rapid and decisive actions to protect South Baoji's security and citizens. We would support any move that directly benefits our security and economy.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: South Baoji cannot engage in military conflicts without careful evaluation. We will maintain a neutral stance, seeking to help with diplomacy and negotiations to avoid a prolonged conflict. If war directly affects South Baoji, we will be ready to protect our interests and our people, but our priority will always be peace and the peaceful resolution of conflicts. But if we were forced to support one, I would support Keviabloxia
9. United Roblox of Indonesia Threats
Interviewer: In April 2023, the official profile of the Government of United Roblox of Indonesia posted hundreds of memes mocking South Baoji, its citizens and suggesting a war of domination, the vice president confirmed that it was not hackers, and that South Baoji should be prepare for a big war, what will you do?
Caio Fernandes: This is not just a provocation, but a direct threat to our sovereignty. We cannot let this slide. I will immediately reinforce our defense, increasing military presence on the borders and establishing a rapid-response plan in case of any attack. I will also accelerate diplomatic relations with our allies to ensure we have support if needed. War will not be our first option, but we will be ready for any eventuality.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: We cannot ignore this threat. We will strengthen our armed forces and our defense systems, without causing unnecessary escalation. At the same time, we will work with regional allies to create a unified front against any attempted aggression. Diplomacy will be the key to de-escalating the situation, but we must be prepared for any scenario.
10. AI in schools
Interviewer: Artificial Intelligence is currently evolving at a rapid level, and you have already suggested applying it in schools, what is your opinion on this?
Caio Fernandes: Artificial Intelligence is the future, and we cannot afford to fall behind. Implementing AI in schools will be a revolution in learning and teaching. I will accelerate the deployment of AI in schools, using it to personalize education, optimize teachers’ time, and provide a more efficient and modern education. We will start now, without waiting.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: Artificial Intelligence can be a powerful tool for improving education, but we must implement it with caution. AI can help personalize learning for each student, but human interaction will still be essential in the educational process. Rather than replacement, we want to use AI to assist teachers, making teaching more effective and accessible. We will ensure that implementation is gradual and focused on the benefit of students.
11. Encouraging the growth of Small Businesses
Interviewer: Several small businesses are popping up around South Baoji, and big business owners say it is unacceptable and that the main brands should be the only ones, would you support small businesses?
Caio Fernandes: Yes, supporting small businesses will be one of my top priorities. I will implement policies that reduce bureaucracy and make it easier for small entrepreneurs, offering affordable credit, tax incentives, and lower taxes. We will ensure that small businesses have the conditions to compete fairly, breaking the barriers imposed by large monopolies.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: Small businesses are the engine of our economy, and I will support them with policies that reduce bureaucracy and encourage innovation. We need to create a more competitive and fair business environment, where small business owners have access to credit, technical support and opportunities to grow. We cannot allow large corporations to stifle local creativity and initiative.
12. Split Milton Island into 2 states
Interviewer: Proposals are emerging with the aim of dividing Milton Island into 2 different states, instead of one state as currently, do you support or disagree with this division?
Caio Fernandes: Dividing Milton Island could create unnecessary instability and political complexity. I am against this division. Let’s focus on uniting the regions and promoting policies that integrate populations, rather than dividing the country further. Unity will be key to our recovery.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: I believe that before making any decision, we need to carry out broad consultations with the local population and impact studies. The division can offer administrative advantages, but it can also generate conflicts of interest and complications. My approach would be to seek a consensus that benefits all the citizens of Milton Island, without harming the unity of the country.
13. Illegal Burns
Interviewer: Illegal fires are being carried out on Coconut Island to make room for agriculture, many citizens disagree with this, what will you do to prevent this?
Caio Fernandes: Illegal burning has no place in South Baoji. I will implement an immediate policy to combat these practices, with heavy fines and imprisonment for offenders. We will also invest rapidly in sustainable farming alternatives for the farmers of Coconut Island, without damaging the environment. The response will be swift and without hesitation.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: Illegal fires on Coconut Island are a serious problem and need to be addressed immediately. What we are seeing is a practice that puts our environment, the health of the population and our agriculture at risk in the long term. I believe that the solution must be multifaceted: first, it is essential to increase supervision and severely punish those who are illegally deforesting. But we also need to look at the causes that lead to this destruction: many of the farmers on the island may be looking for ways to expand their production due to a lack of access to more sustainable resources. My government will invest in agricultural alternatives, such as regenerative agriculture, and offer incentives for sustainable production. Furthermore, we will intensify environmental education, both in schools and in communities, to create a culture of preservation. We cannot allow short-term interests to destroy our future. Let's promote sustainable development, because South Baoji's future depends on it.
14. Climate Change
Interviewer: Climate Change is greatly affecting the world and South Baoji, what do you suggest can be done to reduce climate change and prevent countries from becoming extinct?
Caio Fernandes: Climate change is an urgent reality, and we cannot wait any longer. I will immediately implement measures to reduce emissions, including shutting down coal plants and rapidly increasing the use of renewable energy sources. At the same time, we will adopt policies that promote reforestation and environmental preservation on a large scale. We will act now, with immediate solutions, not wait for solutions that could take decades.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: Combating climate change will be one of my priorities. I will propose an ambitious energy transition plan, focusing on renewable energy, energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. Furthermore, we will work to adapt our infrastructures to new climate challenges, ensuring long-term sustainability. Together with our international partners, we need to act in a coordinated way to avoid the worst-case scenarios.
15. Saobavirus epidemic in 2021
Interviewer: In 2021, a strange, highly transmittable virus called Saobavirus emerged, and spread throughout the South Baoji Mainland, only Milton Island and Coconut Island were saved, the virus left 2,399 dead and almost 87.0 Million infected, luckily, a vaccine was invented , what can be done to avoid new epidemics and a possible return of Saobavirus?
Caio Fernandes: I will ensure constant surveillance and rapid response to outbreaks of new viruses, with widespread testing and quick quarantines when necessary. Vaccination will be mandatory and distributed on a large scale. I will also strengthen the healthcare system to deal with any epidemic more efficiently and swiftly.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: It is essential that we have a robust and internationally coordinated health surveillance system. Biotechnology research must be a priority, in addition to maintaining a strategic stock of vaccines and treatments. The return of a virus like Saobavirus must be prevented with constant monitoring and rapid containment actions. Public education about hygiene
16. New Interstate connecting the country from North to South
Interviewer: In 2022, the Government suggested creating an interstate, SB-222, to connect the country from north to south, do you support the project or not?
Caio Fernandes: Yes, I fully support the highway project. Building this highway will be essential for integrating the country, promoting the transport of goods and creating immediate jobs. We will build it now, without waiting for slow processes. Progress cannot be interrupted.
Luan-Hinchong-Min: I support the SB-222 highway project, but with one condition: that it be planned in a sustainable way, with respect for the environment and local communities. The connection between the north and south of our country is crucial to improving infrastructure and facilitating trade, tourism and people's mobility. However, I know that the economic impact can be challenging at first. Investing in a project of this magnitude requires resources, and there may be an increase in costs in the short term. However, I believe that, over time, this highway will generate more development, with more business opportunities, more jobs and stronger integration between regions. To mitigate the initial negative effects, I will seek responsible financing, seek partnerships with the private sector and, most importantly, ensure that impacted communities are heard and benefited. Let's make sure the highway is a symbol of progress, not destruction.
