The Culpeper Minute is a news program hosted by Larry Culpeper.
History
In 1975, The Culpeper Minute profiled Hollis Mason regarding his book Under the Hood. Larry Culpeper met with Mason at the Gunga Diner in New York City to discuss his past crime-fighting days, his opinions of the Comedian and Doctor Manhattan, and more.
Culpeper also interviews Sally Jupiter, aka Silk Spectre, who fondly recalls being a sex symbol but offers no comment on the Comedian's rape attempt. Larry Schexnayder, Jupiter's ex-husband, is also interviewed and denies that the sexual assault against his ex-wife ever happened, and added that his marriage to Sally was doomed from the start.
When asked for a comment about the rape incident, the Comedian threatens to stick a cigarette in Culpeper's eye.
During the broadcast, Culpeper asks several individuals for their opinions of masked adventurers. News vendor Bernard defends them, while a local bartender named Joe calls crime fighters dangerous, claiming they harass his customers and hurt his business. Psychiatrist Dr. Malcolm Long deems vigilantes sociopathic, but adds that he hopes to one day psychoanalyze one. Big Figure, from Sing Sing Prison, mocks costumed adventurers for wearing masks. Edgar Jacobi, aka Moloch, stated that the existence of superheroes inspired the rise of real world supervillains in the first place and that he worries that an adversary powerful enough to serve a counterpoint to Doctor Manhattan might soon arrive.
