• Operation Wrath of God begins.

18th

• The New York Gazette publishes Richard Nixon's response to the Soviets concerning Vietnam and Dr. Manhattan.^[3]

1971

June

15th

• Ton Duo Thang and Creighton Williams Abrams signed the act of military surrender. America wins the Vietnam War.^[4]

1972

• John David Keene is elected senator of the state of New York.^[5]
• Moloch hijacks Queen Elizabeth 2.^[6]

1973

November

6th

• Wall Street Post reports on the deaths of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein^[7]

1975

January

2nd

• Richard Nixon proposes a Constitutional amendment that will allow him to run for a third term as president.^[8]

1977

• Moloch bombs the New York Stock Exchange^[6]

• Francis Giancarlo writes a letter to the mayor of New York about the scheduling strike protesting against costumed adventurers.^[9]

• A federal warrant is issued against Rorschach.^[10]

• Rorschach kills Franklin Smith and Daziel Amrand, suspects of the Loomis murder.
• Police Officers James Schwarz, Mark Pallazo , and Grevin Adell come to apprehend Rorschach but are injured.^[13]

November

27th

• Rorschach is wanted by the FBI.^[10]
