Seaman, also referred to as the Dark Fife, is a fictional pirate comic book character.
History
In the character's early years, Seaman started out as a popular, cheerful pirate character. This completely changed in 1985 when Frank Miller reimagined the character as a dark agent of fear in The Dark Fife Returns. Miller's reimaging of the character was critically acclaimed.
