Legendary Entertainment (formerly known as Legendary Pictures) is an American motion picture production company based in Burbank, California. Own by the Chinese multinational conglomerate, Wanda Group and the American asset management firm company, Apollo Global Management. Legendary did movies for Warner Bros., especially ones based on DC Comics characters like Batman and Legendary also did some movies for Universal Pictures as well. Legendary also produced and co-owned the Monsterverse franchise.
They were responsible for the Watchmen movie, having also produced the previous film by director Zack Snyder, 300.
