Swara Productions (株式会社スワラ・プロダクション Kabushiki gaisha Suwārā Purodakushon) is a Japanese post sound company primarily active in the field of anime, but has also done sound design work for live-action dramas, films, and occasionally video games. It was founded in 1976 by Katsumi Itō, a former employee of Fizz Sound Creation, and as such uses a lot of the same sound effects of that company, while also creating many of its own. Their sound effects are most commonly used in tokusatsu and magical girl media.
The name Swara is derived from the word "suara", the Indonesian word for sound.
