This is a ricochet sound (originally a Warner Bros. sound effect) that is not available on either the Warner Bros. or Hanna-Barbera libraries, but is available on The International Sound Effects Library, included as part of GUN, RIFLE - SEVERAL SHOTS, WITH RICOCHET and on the Network Sound Effects Library as part of Comical ricochets . . . 10 shots and Ricochets off rock . . . 11 shots.
This sound effect is most often used by Hacienda Post/Horta Editorial & Sound. It was also used heavily by Cosgrove Hall Films in almost every episode of Danger Mouse (Series 4 onward) and Count Duckula when characters dash off.
